BusyCal Reviews

Now my ical stays private and not linked to any Big Tech

Grasshoppered on

Ireland

I never used ical services from the big tech companies. I prefer my private calendars to stay exactly that, private. Busycal tick a lot of boxes. Cross platforf, regular updates, links multiple ical accounts, independent and really easy to use. These is also a number of layers of complexity to suit all technology levels if you prefer to tap into this feature rich app.

Shared CalDav in iOS

gclaeys on

Ireland

Just deleted the default calendar app. So good to have the abilities to at show shared CalDav calendar in iOS! Without even going to all the others nifty features!

Great Calendar App

plaherne79 on

Ireland

I cannot fault this app at all it does exactly what I need it to do. I also have the MAC OS app. One feature that I would love to see make its way to the iOS version is the ability to view the START and END times of an event in the Month View, as you can on the MAC OS version. Definitely will rate this 5 stars when I see this feature! Keep up the great work BusyCal 👍🏼

Latest update is great

Great app and the new calendar interface makes changing the date much more usable.

New update messed up simple use

Codyggg33 on

United States

The new update will not let me hold down phone numbers in the note section to send a text… And now will not open up addresses in Google maps only Apple Maps… This is a huge convenience and probably will be looking for another Calendar app to pay for or that is free. I used to love this app before this update came into effect.

v.6.0.0 is buggy...hold off updating!

ffass on

United States

1/2/25 review update... v.6.0.0 has responsiveness issues and some serious stability bugs. I suggest NOT upgrading to this version until the bugs are fixed with a future smaller update. My info: iOS 18.2, iPhone 13 mini ───── The developers continually improve on their apps and the iOS version of BusyCal has improved dramatically over recent years. I also use the MacOS version of BusyCal and it is also rock solid. Both have synced my calendar entries perfectly for years. Both iOS and MacOS versions are MUCH better than the stock apps in that they offer more practical, useful, and smarter features. HIGHLY recommended.

Easily the best calendar app

Kymatica on

United States

Easily the best calendar app I’ve used for iOS and Mac. Being able to see all of the events on your calendar across an entire month - why this is isn’t an option on the default calendar app is beyond me. Best money I’ve spent on an iOS app, hands down.

希望支持中国的农历

All is Well88 on

农历是中国的传统历法。希望支持。

Too confusing. Won’t let me add events

$&7/88 on

United States

I have tried to connect with iCloud. Will not connect. I tried adding appointments/events and I get a message “No Calendars No calendar was found capable of storing new Tasks”. Unless someone can help me I will have to delete this app and deal with my credit card company for reimbursement

Inconvenient and invisible

EugenBut on

United States

Extremely inconvenient calendar, disappointed. The interface is poorly organized, even the smallest text is half hidden - nothing is visible. The application is significantly inferior to competitors
