BusyCal: Calendar & Tasks

Nice functionalities in the app, but the UX is sometimes painful to use; Please look at the “Easy Calendar” app, they do a MUCH better job at the Week View (iPhone especially). Also a better week widget…. Also: no notifications for shared iCloud calendars when events are added… 😢 So i still have to use the Apple Calendar for notifications…is this a known limitation?

Its got it all. Having tried for years fantastical and outlook this one beats them hands down. Another good point is that the developers listen to you and keep improving.

For some reason app is start crashing..

Duur abonnement gekocht maar office 365 Outlook koppeling is heel erg instabiel! Data springt weg en staat er weer terwijl je ernaar kijkt. Heel erg onbetrouwbaar bedenk goed of je dit product betaald wilt gebruiken!

Ik gebruik de desktopversie van BusyCal al jaren tot grote tevredenheid. De iOS versie die ik gisteren kocht valt echter tegen. Ik ging er vanuit dat het weekoverzicht net zo overzichtelijk zou zijn als dat in de desktop versie, maar dat bleek niet het geval. Het lukte me, anders dan bij WeekCal (dat ik overigens bepaald niet kan aanbevelen), niet om een complete week overzichtelijk op een iPhone SE scherm te krijgen. Om de beschrijving van een afspraak voldoende te kunnen lezen om te weten waar het over gaat, moet ik me beperken tot een overzicht van drie dagen. Bovendien lukt het me niet om een hele dag (van 8-22 uur) in een keer op het scherm te krijgen. De app is daardoor voor mij onbruikbaar. Ik heb restitutie aangevraagd.

Thank you for the excellent BusyCal iOS app. Your calendar app and widgets tick so many boxes! Superb because of: - autofill in location of an appointment - superb list view with weather and excellent UI - excellent search in the past (years ago) and future - the best (homescreen) widgets around (today and upcoming two days in middle sized widget) - excellent way of handling URLs and bold in Notes I do have a few questions though: Q1) How does the travel time (by car?) work since I'm not seeing the time from my current location (can be home or elsewhere) to my next appointment? While it does mention that travel time is supported. Are other ways of transport also possible to select (bike, train, walking) It only indicates when the next appointment will take place Q2) I'm not a fan of data tracking and that is my only worry that you are doing that although anonymous since the App Store indicates: Data Not Linked to You - The following data may be collected but it is not linked to your identity: Usage Data and Diagnostics. I've read the privacy policy on your website. Is there any chance this will be changed to 'No tracking at all' as e.g. Calendar 366 does. I really like your app and widgets so much more but this point I don't get in the business modell (pay once). I'm happy to optional pay additional in-app to support development or pay a small monthly or yearly price. Q3) When installing the app I did notice that at first I wasn't able to select BusyCal in the widget list somehow. The next day it suddenly was there. No restart of my iPhone done in any way so not sure what caused it. Q4) A lot of the competition automatically connects to the Apple or Google calendar without having to login is there a reason this is not available? Q5) Is there a way to automatically always 'show details' when you create a new appointment without having to tap to open it to e.g. always see notes of an appointment? I couldn't find it in the app settings. Q6) I would love to see for the biggest size homescreen widget the option to see 5 days in a list view without location details of the appointments so similar to 'Agenda' type of widget but that currently only shows 2 days. The other options 'This Week' cuts of the name of the appointments since it is indicated vertically while I would rather see it horizontally like the Agenda one but then with less details to show approximately 5 days.

Great app! However one request: is it possible to add an option to handling the amount of daily hours in the day and in the week screen? So that you can set the amount of visible hours on, let's say 18, the day starts at 06:00 in the morning, till midnight. This because most of the people don't have appointments in the middle of the night. It's a very handy option in the other very good app WeekCal.

Love this app. It works very well. The support is fabulous.
