Every day hundreds of people want to reach out and help someone in need but its often not so easy to find those who are going through the same challenges and even when you do its not easy to start a conversation with a stranger and immediately gain their trust so they open up about their challenges. Butterfly Effect allows you to look through various categories and posts so you can chose the people and topics you can help with. You will send an anonymous short message detailing how you believe you can assist them and if they respond back to you, you are matched and you can freely start a conversation.
In addition we also believe that no matter what you are going through, you are not alone. There has always been someone else who has experienced something similar and they are willing and able to help you anonymously with no expectations but to help another human in need. You can post your challenge and wait for the anonymous responses. Then you can swipe through the responses and only match with those that you think are best situated to help you by simply replying back to them.
All conversations are anonymous and messages will not be backed up in the system and all messages are periodically removed. This is essential to keep the privacy of each person and to create an open and inclusive space for everyone to express their thoughts freely.
