## Byell Harmony Description
Byell Harmony ist ein praxis-orientiertes Werkzeug zum Lernen, Verstehen und Nachschlagen von Akkorden, Tonleitern und musikalischen Zusammenhängen. 

Fragen wie die folgenden, lassen sich damit leicht beantworten:

* Welche Töne auf der Gitarre gehören zu einer Moll-Bluesleiter in G?
* Wo finde ich Töne auf der Geige, mit denen sich D-Moll begleiten lässt?
* Welche Töne ändern sich, wenn ich von C-Dur zu G-Dur wechsle?
* Welche Töne kann ich auf der Gitarre spielen, wenn bestimmte Noten vorgegeben sind? Welcher Akkord ergibt sich aus den Tönen E, G und C?
* Welche Tonleiter ergibt sich, wenn man bei harmonisch Moll die kleine Terz durch eine grosse ersetzt?
* In einem einfachen Lied in G-Dur kommen in einem Takt in der Melodie die Töne A und D vor. Welcher Akkord mag dazu passen?
* Wie verschiebt sich der Fingersatz auf der Geige zwischen G dorisch und G phrygisch? Welcher Ton auf einem Cello entspricht welchem Ton auf der Gitarre?
* Welche Tonleiter ergibt sich, wenn man die nur die schwarzen Tasten auf dem Klavier verwendet?
* Wie finde ich einen H° Akkord auf der Gitarre?
* Welche Note muss ein in Es gestimmtes Instrument spielen, damit ein C klingt?

Ausserdem unterstützt Byell Harmony das Zusammenspiel mit MIDI:

* Auf einem angeschlossenen MIDI-Keyboard gespielte Töne werden angezeigt. 
* Sequencer können verwendet werden, um Voreinstellungen (Presets) abzurufen oder zwischen diesen weiter zu schalten.
* Die aktuelle Einstellung (Grundton, Tonleiter, Modus, markierte Töne) kann via MIDI auf ein anderes Gerät mit Byell Harmony übertragen werden.
* Markierte Töne können auf einem angeschlossenen MIDI-Gerät abgespielt werden. 
* Ein Song, also eine Abfolge von Harmonien kann definiert werden und dieser auf allen via MIDI zusammen geschlossenen Anwendungen gemeinsam gespielt werden.
