### *---- "Kompliziert, viele Abstürze"
Statt Verbesserung, Verschlechterung mit jedem Jahr. Versuche seit Jahren mit der App zu arbeiten. Bisher habe ich es immer geschafft Daten (Routen, Wegpunkte) vom Plotter auf die App und zurück zu transferieren. Jetzt ist nur noch Transfer von der App zum Plotter möglich. In der anderen Richtung schließt die App sich automatisch. Nach Logout und erneutem Login sind alle Daten in der App gelöscht und Backups können nicht mehr geladen werden. Beim Feedback/Bewertung über die App ebenfalls Absturz. Habe das Abo gekündigt!
Verwendet wurden ein iPad Pro 4. Generation und ein iPhone 16 Pro mit jeweils gleichem Fehlerbild bei aktueller iOS Version.

Unfortunately I am experiencing a loss of GPS signal (when the app works in the background) the signal will not come back unless the app is completely closed and re-started (iPhone 15 pro / iOS 17.5.1)! Other Navigation-Apps used in parallel did not show the same issue. The problem had been reported to the developer. I have cancelled the subscription (although the map display is very nice).

Hatte bis kurz vor Törnbeginn einen brandneuen B&G Zeus S, der leider nur C-Map Discovery Karten akzeptiert. Diese konnte ich jedoch nicht mehr aktualisieren, da die Internetseite seit Wochen meine Login Daten nicht mehr frisst, auch neues PWD usw… in der App funktioniert es leider auch nicht.
Ich wäre sogar bereit gewesen, 160€ für eine neue SD Karte springen zu lassen, doch der gut sortierte Fachhandel hat die Discovery Karten nicht vorrätig. 
Was ist da los bei C-Map und B&G? 
Und wozu zum Teufel ist die B&G App identisch mit der C-Map App? Auch der Preis von 50€ pro Jahr ist identisch. Leider Nutzlos.
Das beste am B&G Plotter mit C-Map Discover Karten ist aus meiner Erfahrung, dass ich beides innerhalb von Minuten an Bord durch ein Raymarine Axiom + ersetzen konnte. 
Sehr schade. ☹️ 
Und auch schade, dass niemand auf meine Hilferufe an den Service reagiert hat. Stimmt nicht ganz: vor paar Wochen habe ich eine Ticketnummer erhalten. Das war es aber dann.
Nun ist der Kasten kopheister gegangen und ich bin glücklich mit meinem neuen Plotter.

Ich habe die Navigations-App für die kroatische Adria-Küste genutzt. Der von anderen Nutzern festgestellte GPS-Empfangsverlust, ist mir auch wiederholt passiert (während ich bei gleichzeitiger Nutzung anderer Navigations-Apps, z.B. Navionics, Google-Maps) keine solche Signalstörung hatte. Gerade beim Navigieren auf engem Raum war dies nicht hilfreich. 

Die Kartendarstellung habe ich als unübersichtlich empfunden. Einfache Tools zum Bestimmen einer Entfernung mit entsprechender Peilung konnte ich nicht finden. Eine Anfrage beim Support ist unbeantwortet geblieben. Ich habe die App wieder gelöscht.

Habe das Probeabo ausprobiert. Karten ungenau, anweichung der Tiefenlinien teilweise 2 Meter, gerade in Ufernähe schwierig. Beim navigieren und tracken und Nutzung von Entfernungsmessung oder autorouting oder Spotanzeige kann man das Menü nicht mehr verlassen. Einzige Abhilfe ist dann Neustart, aber dann ist der bisherige Track verloren. 
Bei Geschwindigkeit unter 3 Knoten verliert die App die Richtung und Geschwindigkeit und friert ein oder zeigt eine andrre Richtung an. Schwierig bei Approach an Hafen oder bei Nacht.
Keine Bearingline wenn trackingfunktion aktiviert.
Km angaben anstatt NM. Etc. etc.
Vieles wurde in den Zezensionen bereits vor 3 Jahren angesprochen aber leider immer noch nicht behoben.
Wäre gerne Abonnent geworden, aber leider nicht zuverlässig nutzbar.

### ****- "Quite good but some improvements necessary"
The the app is quite good meanwhile and I decided to change from another app to this one. But there are two items to improve:
1.) it must be possible to show distances in nautical miles in a boating app! It’s a no-go that distances are shown in km only.
2.) an optional improvement but important tor me for me would be to have a ruler or something that is independent from the middle of the screen in order to measure distances without moving the map for planning purposes.

Ich vergleiche seit Jahren navionics und c-map. 
Leider ist die Konkurrenz auf maximalen Gewinn aus. Dies war ein Grund wieder in c-map zu sehen. Und, ich bin angenehm überrascht!!! Die App hat sich sehr weiterentwickelt und ist für mich so interessant geworden, dass ich umgestellt habe auf c-map. Ein wenig eingewöhnen und man findet alles was man sucht.

### ***-- "Noch Luft nach oben"
Habe die App als Alternative zu Navionics ausprobiert. Anfänglich war ich recht optimistisch, Karten gut, Route mal eben fix erstellt, sah gut aus..

Aber Offlinekarten der Ostseeküste konnte ich nicht installieren, ohne zusätzliche Lizenzgebühr für dänische Gewässer. Ein Installieren der lizensierten Gebiete geht nur, wenn bei der Auswahl DK nicht ausgewählt wird. Kaum möglich bei rechteckigem Auswahlfenster. 

Autorouting mit vielen Fehlern, ohne editieren kaum brauchbar. Einige Routen ohne Probleme, die meisten automatisch erstellen Routen sind fragwürdig. Offensichtlich gibt es Probleme, wenn mehrere Fahrrinnen zusammenlaufen. Da wird dann über eine Untiefe zur Tonne in der anderen Fahrrinne geroutet. Zu viel Nacharbeit. 

Karten selbst sind recht detailliert, die Darstellung ist sehr gut. 

Die Bedienung der App ist nicht intuitiv, könnte für mobile Devices besser sein. z.B. geht jedes Mal ein Fenster auf, wenn man in die Karte tippt. Diese Fenster muss dann per ziehen(!) zum unteren Bildschirmrand geschlossen werden. 

Ich probiere es im nächsten Jahr noch mal.

Ich habe es seit zwei Jahren aboniert und seit dem quäle mich damit. 
Schade, eigentlich einfach und intuitiv zu bedienen. Aber leider funktioniert einfach nicht und wenn ja, dann nicht zuverlässig. Installiert habe ich es auf ein IPhone 8+ und ein Ipad Pro (M1). Die Liste der Fehlfunktionen ist lang. Abstürze, Offline -Karten Management/Download schmiert ab, Programm lässt sich nicht schließen, bei geringe Geschwindigkeit ist unbrauchbar, falsche Kurse usw.. Oft hilft nur eine Neuinstallation. In zwei Jahren wurden die Fehler nicht behoben.

Ich mag die App sehr.
Das Ein- und Auszoomen funktioniert tadellos.
Die Darstellung finde ich sehr gut.
Seit einigen Tagen kann ich nur noch Teile von Nord-und Ostsee sehe.
Das irritiert mich ein wenig und hoffe, dass gerade Kartenteile von C-Map aktualisiert werden.
Ich nutze die App auf dem I-Pad mit einem externen GPS - Bluetooth-Empfänger von Garmin. 
Funktioniert hervorragend. Bis auf besagte, fehlende Darstellung.
