I love this app. It does everything I need and much more. I didn’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for a bike computer and now I don’t need to. I really wanted to track my spin cadence but couldn’t find a way to do it on the cheap until I found this app. I did invest in a Moofit cadence and speed sensor. <$15 each on Amazon. The speed sensor is not necessary, but helpful. The cadence sensor is needed only if you want to track your cadence. A dedicated computer may be “slicker”—I don’t know—but this work great for me. Try it—for free!

Cadence is brilliant, perfectly capable of replacing just about any bike computer/head unit. All the data options you want, maps, navigation, easy Strava integration… it’s all there. And it looks good! I especially like the granular level at which you can format and color-code the pages—and have a lot of them. What makes Cadence stand out in particular though is the quality of their customer support. I both take and coach spin classes at a small gym and couldn’t, initially, get Cadence to connect to the Precor bikes there. The effort and commitment that Ryan put in to get it sorted and working for me was phenomenal. I’ve never had a better support experience for a service or product in my life. I use Cadence in some way almost every day now and it hasn’t failed me once.

### ****- "The only computer you need"
For me, Cadence has replaced the garmin as the needed tool for cycling and training.  Phones are with us anyways, Cadence just incorporates all of the best of the garmin (including my radar) to not one device instead of two.  Downsides?  It’s a battery hog.  Won’t last through a 60 mile ride if you’re using the Apple Watch app to track heart rate.  That’s it.
