## Cadence Description
Your whole journey, live on your Lock Screen. Glance and Go.

You know that live journey screen on the Metro — your whole trip tracked, stop by stop, right above the doors? Ever wished every train, bus, ferry and light rail had one? Cadence puts it in your pocket — for every ride across NSW.

No more unlocking your phone for the tenth time on a crowded platform — where am I, is it late, will I make my connection? One glance at your Lock Screen, and you know.

Pick your trip, press start, lock your phone, and follow your ENTIRE journey. No unlocking. No app-opening. No guessing.

THE WHOLE JOURNEY, ON A TIMELINE
Not just the next departure — your complete door-to-door trip drawn as one live timeline: walk, ride, change, ride, walk.
• Countdowns, live delays, where you are in your journey and what's next — on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island
• A live map of your trip's vehicles and route lines, plus an all-stop summary with your next stop highlighted

KNOW WHEN TO LEAVE
• Type a street address or use your current location, and Cadence works out the walk
• It tells you when to leave the house — not just when the train goes

CHANGE WITH CONFIDENCE
• See exactly how many minutes you have to make each platform change, so a tight connection never catches you out
• Missed your service? One tap finds the next trip

PLAN AROUND YOUR DAY
• Arrive-by planning: tell it when you need to BE there and it works the trip backwards
• Compare earliest and fastest options at a glance

ALERTS, ONLY WHEN THEY MATTER
• Trip alerts, on by default — a nudge about a minute before your platform change and your last stop, plus a "time to leave" reminder when your trip starts with a walk
• Add a bell to any other stop in All Stops, and get a heads-up if your arrival time changes
• A short, honest recap when you arrive — on time or late, and any alerts along the way

EVERY MODE, ACROSS NSW
• Trains, Metro, Light Rail, Ferries and Buses — live times and delays where the network provides them
• Light and dark mode, and favourite trips you can reach in seconds

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account. No sign-up. No ads. No tracking. No analytics or marketing SDKs
• Cadence has no servers of its own — nothing to collect your data
• Your saved trips and settings stay on your phone
• The only thing that leaves your device: the stops you choose (and your coordinates, only if you tap "current location") go to Transport for NSW to plan the trip and fetch live times — nothing else, and never linked to your identity
• Every reminder is generated on your device
• The moving timeline runs on your trip's times, not GPS — nothing follows you or your vehicle

Peace of mind for the daily commute, without the trade-off.

Live data comes from the Transport for NSW Open Data Hub. Cadence is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for NSW. Live times depend on data published by the network and can change without notice, so please allow a little buffer.
