Cal AI - Calorie Tracker

Came across multiple ads and decided to download. However the app is janky. Freezes and crashes frequently. Does not read food labels or recognise basic foods. Will be uninstalling and discontinuing subscription. Really had high hopes. App Store reviews showing the same copy pasted generic ratings is also suspicious.

Best calorie app I have ever used. It’s just amazing how the AI works.

They offer a 3 day trial, but if you cancel before it’s up they charge you anyway, and apple says it’s not refundable!

Customer service refuses to help make the app work or provide refund. I tried to purchase this for my son’s device. He can’t log in with the credentials. Their customer service says tough luck, no refunds nor will they help get it to work on his device! Now I’m stuck with this useless service for a year.

If you’re on a diet where every calorie and macro counts, do not use their product. It got some veggies correct, but every protein and complete meal was off 100+ calories, not even mentioning macros.
