I bought calculator on new MacBook Pro, just for 1 euro, wow!

Looks and feels awesome. Really cheap and has an history. You can use it on Mac, iPhone and iPad! Recommend it ot everybody!

I don’t get why people complain. It’s a calculator. It does math. On top of that it’s good looking and works on all devices with one purchase… err, two, if you want the extras. What I miss is the standard stuff the Max calculator has, like currency conversion, unit conversion etc. Then I’d give 5 stars.

Super kalkulačka pro všechna Vaše zařízení. Vypadá hezky. Je v češtině. Klávesnice na iPhonu má haptickou odezvu. Má funkci pásky.

Sice podpora airprint, ale jednoduchy export poznamek do .pdf nebo neco podobneho schazi, coz je skoda. Pokazde nepotrebuji tisknout.

Very nice look and tape feature (in the AppStore description) got me buy it, alas I will have to find a more sophisticated tool before the following is adressed. I associate tape feature with sophisticated calculators and this one certainly has potential to quickly get there. 1. Only 9-digit numbers can be displayed and perform calculations with in 3 out of 4 modes, this includes the digits behind decimal point, so this is often very big limitation (scientific mode allows more digits but the numbers are truncated on the tape anyway, not corresponding with the display) 2. Tape shows numbers too truncated and they do not correspond to those typed in. Try type 1 234 456 789,00 x 1 in scientific mode and switch back to tape mode. You will see 1,23e9 which is too truncated result. There is plenty of space on the tape to display the full number, even with more digits. In tape mode, display can be made wider and tape can be shifted underneath, there will still be enough space to see numbers on the tape. 3. Tape should be displayed in all modes after the option "print to tape in all modes" has been selected. There is plenty of space on the screen in both portrait and landscape mode after decorations are ticked off. The look is realy nice, though I'd suggest darker color of the wooden desk as an option for those who like different color of wood, or a plain black or dark blue color as other options.

Update: 13.10.2024 Nachdem ich das aktuelle Update auf 4.5 gemacht habe, funktioniert die App gar nicht mehr auf macOS (Monterey). Wenn ich die App starte, dann dreht der Lüfter hoch, die Auslastung liegt bei 100% und in der Aktivitätsanzeige steht, dass die App nicht mehr reagiert. Vorher war die App schlecht benutzbar, jetzt gar nicht mehr. 5.05.2024: Leider läuft die App unter sehr instabil. Ich habe die App auch für iOS und auch dort ist sie zwar nicht besonders schnell - aber noch erträglich. Ganz anders unter macos. Es dauert mindestens 5 Sekunden bis die App startet (meistens länger, so ca. 10 Sekunden - ich habe es mehrmals gemessen) und bringt das System auf volle Auslastung - auch wenn sie nicht benutzt wird. Das spricht für Programmierfehler. Im Laufe der Zeit vereinnahmt die App immer mehr Speicher, so dass das gesamte System zum Stillstand kommt. Ich benutze macOS 12.7.1 (Monterey), aber das sollte keine Rolle spielen, da die App dafür freigegeben ist. Ich benutze daher wieder den Rechner von Apple, der läuft stabil und schnell. Schade.

An sich kein schlechter Rechner, der durchaus 5 Sterne verdient hätte, wenn es nicht das Problem mit den kleinen Werten gäbe (schon vor Jahren mehrfach bemängelt, aber nie korrigiert). Worum geht es: In der wissenschaftlichen Ansicht werden alle Werte kleiner als 10 hoch minus 12 als 0 (Null) dargestellt, statt die übliche Darstellung 1E-13 zu verwenden. Für wissenschaftlich-technische Berechnungen völlig unbrauchbar! Bei der Standard-Ansicht tritt der Fehler bereits bei Werten kleiner 1E-10 auf. Bei großen Zahlen tritt der Effekt übrigens NICHT auf. Da kann man tatsächlich Zahlen wie 2E25 sehen. Unverständlich. Wenn der Fehler behoben ist, werde ich meine Bewertung auf 5 Sterne erhöhen.
