CalenGoo Calendar

I have been searching for and trying many calendar apps, over many years. I was looking for one that can cope with my unusual way of using Google calendar. I never found an app that was satisfactory. It has been a pain all along. Until I found Calengoo! It fulfils my needs 100%! Does what I want it to do. And much more. It works reliably! It is very intuitive! Fast. It has all the features you'd want. It syncs 100%. It is ... absolutely perfect!

I swore in the title of this review on purpose to try and emphasis how much I like this app. I am a busy person, my work is busy, my personal life is busy, I think a lot and have many ideas on the run and I like my life like this. Calengoo is the app I use more than any on my smartphone, even more than email, the phone app or text app. It allows me to access my appointment details and attached files, make new appointments on the fly and write task lists of ideas or chores I have. It does much more also, all synchronised with Google Calendar so that when I am back at my desk at work or on the computer at home, everything is in front of me on a big screen and keyboard. Google Calendar with Calengoo App helps me to organise my life and work and it does this beautifully. I can't speak more highly of it. I also can't speak more highly of the software developer Dominique as I've emailed him a few times with questions on the finer details of how to use the app and he has always been kind, courteous and enthusiastic to assist. He truly is a man of integrity and principle, something that is often fleeting and rare in this modern technological world. App is still working well for me. New updates have come with a few bugs but as mentioned in prior reviews there is great developer support with the app. A simple email and bugs are sorted (or new features added). Can customise to no end, but does need a bit of effort reading what the various features are and how to turn them on/off. Have been using this app almost two years and still recommend it to those who need to have google calendars and google tasks on the go.

Day view is actually a week view. Does nothing more than the free goggle calendar. Didn't sync all my appointments or birthdays. Disappointing.

I will give this app some credit - it works, and it works well. It picked up everything I wanted it to from my calendar and did exactly what I needed. However, I stopped using it almost straight away because it was rather difficult to use (it took me a few minutes to work out that the "day" view was actually a "3-day" view). Some options didn't the way I intuitively felt that they would, and it was just plain ugly. It's not a bad app, but it has a long way to go.

Does exactly what I need from a calendar. Syncing works great. Nice clear interface with lots of user settings. Great program!

At last an application that keeps my vital iPhone calendar safe and backed up to gmail, with all the enhancements required AND 'in phone' alerts as well. Fabulous, recommended +++ Brent ChCh NZ

Having a seamless calendar and tasks app was crucial for me to make my iphone meet my productivity needs. This app covers it. I haven't had any problems syncing, and it's great that it displays tasks too. I especially like the landscape week view. Would give it 5 stars if the tasks side of things was more powerful, but that's probably more to do with google's offerings there anyway I suppose.

This is the best app to use with GMail and GTasks. Data is stored so that you can use it when away from WiFi with a Touch. How handy is that?

Then you need this to manage multiple calendars. I have a work calendar, personal calendar, family calendar (shared), committee calendar (shared), sports team calendar (shared). This app lets me easily manage across all of them, simultaneously. The settings are very flexible if you turn on "advanced", but then it can be hard to find the setting you changed, if you get it wrong.
