Description

CalenGoo gives you a fast and easy way to access and modify your Google Calendar with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. It can also be used when you have no Internet connection, using the cached data. Changes are saved and uploaded the next time you are connected.

The calendar view is similar to the web view of Google Calendar. Events are displayed using the same calendar colors that you use in your Google Calendar, even Google's event colors are supported (please see http://www.calengoo.com/cc ). It also recognizes which calendars are visible and which are hidden. So the view should match the view of your Google Calendar as much as possible.

CalenGoo also has a month view similar to that of Google Calendar. It can be zoomed and panned to quickly get an overview over the events of a month. Zooming the month is done by using the two-finger-zoom gesture that you know from Safari and the photo application. A double tap opens the tapped day.

It also supports the same kinds of recurrence rules as Google Calendar and displays recurring events correctly even when you are offline or scroll far into the future.

You can also use Google Calendar's feature to invite people to events and see their status (accepted, declined, maybe, no answer). They will get an invitation email with links to e.g. accept or decline the invitation.

Google Calendar has an integrated task list, called Google Tasks. Tasks with a due date are displayed on the corresponding days of the calendar. CalenGoo can do the same, it can sync this list, display your tasks in the calendar views and in a list view and it even makes your tasks available offline. You can edit and add tasks and the changes will be synced with Google Tasks.

You either need a (free) Google Calendar account to use this app or you can use it with your iOS calendars. However using it with Google Calendar has a few advantages.

If you think the font is too small and hard to read, you can increase the font size of all calendar views in the settings under "Settings", "Display and Use".

Enjoying this app for quite a period of time

As this app can handle well with multiple colours for each of my family accounts and it can sync Google tasks too and manage the recurrence well, so I gave it 4 stars.

Great apps but duplicate appointment on wrong day!

It's a great app I wanted. Except that I noticed my appointment on eg Tue is created in Monday as well. I can't trust the entry! It will be great if there is a view similar to DAY view of google calendar and able to put a reason why I can't attend a mtg. Your current entry for each DAY entry is too small. I often open the wrong slot. Other than this it's a great apps.

Upgraded app - cannot sync

Ur upgraded paid version does not sync anymore. Pls advise?

Good App

Overall sync and work well with google calendar. However, the layout and UI is not "clean" and pleasing to the eye. Would give it 5 stars if the layout and UI can be streamline and have a better simpler look.

Good app

I use this to view my colleagues calendars and etc. Very useful especially offline mode.

Minor bug: Description box of day-view entry

I'm quite happy to have paid for this app. One minor bug I noticed: Add a description to an event. In day-view, a small white outlined box appears at the top-right of the event title bar. Edit the same event: remove the description by backspacing or deleting all characters making up the description. In the day-view, the small white outlined box is still present. Furthermore when you tap the event to view the event details, there is an empty row for the description. Which means ... the description is not really empty: probably still a carriage return character present.

Google Calendar sync app

This is a really nice app which can sync Google Calendar with the iPhone. I particularly like the week view, and the ability to see icons. Keep up the good work.

Simply works

This app does it's job. It will sync your google calendar to this app. Loads quite fast n accurate in updating. Perhaps could add in a to do list with it to make it even better. Overall it's a good app.

No Good

this application is not good, very slow & not convenient at all! I strongly suggest not to buy... I feel very disappointed coz it is not work as I expected. It is definitely not Google Calendar.
