Description

CalenGoo gives you a fast and easy way to access and modify your Google Calendar with your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. It can also be used when you have no Internet connection, using the cached data. Changes are saved and uploaded the next time you are connected.

The calendar view is similar to the web view of Google Calendar. Events are displayed using the same calendar colors that you use in your Google Calendar, even Google's event colors are supported (please see http://www.calengoo.com/cc ). It also recognizes which calendars are visible and which are hidden. So the view should match the view of your Google Calendar as much as possible.

CalenGoo also has a month view similar to that of Google Calendar. It can be zoomed and panned to quickly get an overview over the events of a month. Zooming the month is done by using the two-finger-zoom gesture that you know from Safari and the photo application. A double tap opens the tapped day.

It also supports the same kinds of recurrence rules as Google Calendar and displays recurring events correctly even when you are offline or scroll far into the future.

You can also use Google Calendar's feature to invite people to events and see their status (accepted, declined, maybe, no answer). They will get an invitation email with links to e.g. accept or decline the invitation.

Google Calendar has an integrated task list, called Google Tasks. Tasks with a due date are displayed on the corresponding days of the calendar. CalenGoo can do the same, it can sync this list, display your tasks in the calendar views and in a list view and it even makes your tasks available offline. You can edit and add tasks and the changes will be synced with Google Tasks.

You either need a (free) Google Calendar account to use this app or you can use it with your iOS calendars. However using it with Google Calendar has a few advantages.

If you think the font is too small and hard to read, you can increase the font size of all calendar views in the settings under "Settings", "Display and Use".

The best calendar app

Tried many different calendar apps before settling with CalenGoo. Have been using it as my only calendar app for the past two years and it works great. Gives a vey good calendar overview in day, week or month views. I’m surprised this app has not received more attention. Also love that it does not collect my personal data. Great work!

Best calendar app ever

I tried all free calendar apps, and bought Fantastical 2 and yesterday I paid for Calendar 5. None of them compare with Calengoo, it is extremely configurable, you can change almost everything, to make it readable and easy to use, including font size, row size, date separator and so on. It is amazing. I don’t understand, why this app isn’t in tops when you search on the internet for iOS calendar app.

En finfin app med massa inställningsmöjligheter! Kraschar tyvärr när man redigerar reminders och har dåligt sortering på reminders.

Bäst

Helt klart den bästa kalendern för Google-kontot. Har provat massor av varianter och landar alltid på den här. Komplett och med massor av inställningar som det är helt valfritt att pilla på.

Väldigt smidig klient för google calendar. Stora möjligheter att enkelt konfigurera om den i både funktion och utseende om det är något som känns fel.

49kr i soporna

Den här kalendern gör inget annat man behöver jämfört med gratisvarianter eller iPadens inbyggda. Jag fick uppfattningen att den kunde se bifogade filer i Google kalender, men nej, nej.

Underskön o stabil

Dena app är faktiskt smidig o skön. Jag har använt den i drygt två år nu utan problem. Anpassar den efter mina behov o vardagen blir dans på rosor. Jag o min fru är helnöjda o synkade!

Så mycket bättre...

...än Kalender. Använder du Google-kalendern måste du ha den här. Använder du inte Google-kalendern så borde du göra det. Har inte upplevt något problem under två års användning. Synkar alla min Google-kalendrar utan problem. Enda anldningen att jag har kvar Kalender-appen på min hemskärm är att den visar dagens datun (vilket inte Calengoo gör/får göra)

Ok! Men...

Superbare att ha tillgång till sin kalender även off-line, tyvärr så försvinner visa inlagda aktiviteter, "hoppar" till en annan dag... Dvs går inte att lita på...
