## Calgary Sun Reviews in Canada

### ***-- "App Freezes, Share function doesn’t work"
Often when you click on a story the app freezes & won’t open story. You must close the app & reopen. Also the share function doesn’t work.
I gave it 3 stars because I do enjoy the content but the app needs updated yo fix the bugs.
-- ififgij, 2022-01-21

### *---- "Terrible app"
I use to use the Calgary sun app all the time but over the course of the last year every time I try to use it freezes, doesn’t let me scroll and even crashes my phone. Seems the latest updates did not help but actually make the app even less usable for quick and easy new reading. I would give less than 1 star if I could. Also I have never seen a disclaimer on a app stating app won’t load on slow networks.. like really your a news site I expect text with a couple photos, not understanding how that’s so data hungry it crashes the app on slower networks.
-- Nick05!, 2022-01-04

### *---- "App keeps crashing"
It hasn’t worked for a long time now. All it does now is crashes and sometimes even forces phone to power down. I guess the Calgary Sun is no longer interested in fixing. It used to be the place to go for news but now it’s found anywhere but. Time to delete from the phone. It was once a 5 star app but now would be a -5 if I could choose. I reached out to developer a few months back. Received a reply but that’s where it ended. Don’t waste your time with it. Garbage and very unfortunate!
-- Spankowitz, 2022-01-02

### *---- "Worst app ever"
Continual freezing. One would think the app developer would have an update to fix. Not so. Get news elsewhere.
-- Smitherenzes, 2021-12-04

### *---- "Problems. Freezes"
Reading the reviews this problem has been around for some time. Looks like the sun is not interested in fixing. Time to remove application from my phone
-- &8$76, 2021-12-03

### *---- "Never works properly"
Everything freezes, new news stories don’t load half the time, stories double load then freeze on white screen. Just horrible!!
-- krcrp99, 2021-11-26

### *---- "Junk"
This app fails all the time and they never seem to fix it
-- johnnyringogolf, 2021-11-15

### *---- "Fix the app already!"
FIX. THE. APP.!!!
-- Walkinballs, 2021-11-10

### *---- "Freezes and can’t scroll."
Please fix the constant freezing or cancelling my subscription.
-- Cpt guy, 2021-10-30

### *---- "Broken"
App is broken. It crashes after loading one story. I am now deleting the app as it has made my phone lock up to the point where it restarted on its own. Terrible. Pull it from the App Store until it’s fixed
-- Punchout, 2021-10-28

### *---- "Poor Ap"
Continuing freezing up
-- morts56, 2021-10-27

### *---- "Brutal"
Brutal.
-- Brooklyn meyer, 2021-10-26

### *---- "On top of bad"
On top of keeping R B, the unpredictable and reality distortion reporter on the pay roll, now the application crashes. Please fix both.
-- Grancharly, 2021-10-24

### *---- "White screen of death"
Opening a story from the main page just results in a big white nothing. Once upon a time this was a useful app, not so much now.
-- MrFritzVonKalterSee, 2021-03-04

### *---- "App fail"
Your app is hit and miss on both my phone and my wife’s. White screen then causes our phones to reboot
-- Jkmacek, 2021-03-04

### *---- "Avoid App as it crashes system"
Problem for over a week. Eservices say’s it is fixed, unfortunately it is not. Avoid until it is resolved. Surprising how long it takes to resolve this type of issue.
-- avoid the sun, 2021-03-02

### ***-- "Please fix"
Love it when it works
Please fix now!!!!
-- Jaxsndoms, 2021-03-02

### *---- "No working again"
Your app won’t load stories when clicked on. White screen freezes my phone or makes my phone restart.
-- Singh hi u, 2021-02-28

### *---- "Horrible"
Crashes all my devices! Zero stars!!!
-- Kaygee2, 2021-02-27

### *---- "Unusable"
Obviously the latest version didn’t fix anything. Can’t select any articles, causes iPhone to restart every time. Very poor effort.
