## Calm Skies Description
Flying used to feel impossible.

This app was built by someone who cancelled flights, sat through the ones they couldn't cancel, and eventually decided to understand the fear properly rather than keep avoiding it. What worked wasn't reassurance. It was learning what the plane was actually doing, having tools that held up in the seat, flying anyway, and then looking back at what their brain had got wrong.

That's the method the app is built on, and it runs in four steps.

UNDERSTAND
Learn what's actually happening on a flight. Every sound, every sensation, every phase from pushback to landing, explained clearly so your brain stops filling the gaps with worst cases. Courses cover the specific things that scare people most: turbulence, takeoff, landing, feeling trapped, and not being in control.

REGULATE
Practical techniques you can use in a middle seat without anyone noticing. Breathing, grounding, and reframing tools that work in the moment, offline, when anxiety actually rises.

FLY
Add your flight and the app builds a plan around the time you have. A countdown, sessions paced to your date, and reminders when they help. The goal isn't to feel nothing. It's to board.

DEBRIEF
This is the part most approaches skip. Before you fly, you record what you think will happen. Afterwards, you go back over that prediction against what actually happened. The gap between the two is the evidence your fear needs, and it's how exposure therapy works: not calming down, but finding out you were wrong. Every flight you log goes on your graph, so you can see the fear coming down over time instead of guessing.

Then the loop runs again on the next flight, and the next.
