Helps me sleep when I’m stressed out with school and life
Love it
I started as I was not sleeping well. Now I practice the daily jay & stress meditations. They really work for me.
I love this app and use it every night I just need a new sleep story to listen to I would like t have some new ones like a bluey episode ( the tv show) as well as some older people movies such as mean girls clueless and more like that Poppy(:
I find that the Calm App is a part of my “everyday” experience. Whether it is soothing sounds of music, the restful pitter-patter of rain-effects or a rest-time story, I use Calm when I need to have a mental reset. Or it may be a short rest in the lounge room, or to be put to sleep in bed. The sound distraction is a useful focus as I drift-off. Without this sleep tool, my mind is thinking, wondering and processing. Let me rest. Give me my Calm - day or night.
I like all the kids story’s . My children enjoy them very much for there bed times.
I like the idea of the app - I have the paid subscription. But it’s slow, I struggle with the default voice which is on so many of the meditations (sorry no offence intended) and it’s difficult to navigate - especially when trying to create playlists. It could be very good given the caliber of some of the voices, but needs improvement not sure I’ll renew the subscription unless it functions better.
I’ve used Calm for years, mostly to help me fall asleep. The sleep stories and soundscapes are amazing and they have terrific narrators who never fail to help me switch off. But lately there have been too many changes to the app layout making it more difficult to find the content I use. Some other content I like, such as remixed popular music has been removed - which is also disappointing. And on the whole I now feel, Calm is not so much providing various wellness tools for whatever each person may need - but instead focused now on getting people addicted to make Calm a daily habit by counting streaks and highlighting a wellness score based on which elements of the app I haven’t used. This is annoying. The lifetime special now being offered, where you can subscribe for life for half price, makes me worried there will be no commitment to new content and standards are set to decline further.
Very poor customer service.
