Been a helpful app for me personally. Love the daily meditation series, sleep stories (especially the one with Matthew McConaughey narrating) and shorter meditations. I track my moods and journal on here aswell. I just wish it would be possible to add a mood check in on the previous day. Sometimes I do my mood check in after midnight and it goes on the following day, which annoys me. In general, would recommend for mindfulness and even journaling/reflection/mood tracking.
I really miss filters by narrator and I don’t like lots of things it asks me every time I complete a meditation. It’s like it’s testing my calm as soon as I achieved it
This is an excellent app for relaxation and medication. I love the visual look with nature sounds and different nature escapes. There are daily medications, sleep stories, music and also other content. I feel I get a lot for the money I pay for this app. I have bought lifetime membership and I recommend following the offers during black friday season to get a good price. I value the work this company does and it makes me a bit sad to see all the negative reviews about the content not being free. Calm is a company and there are many people doing great work for providing this app. It takes time and effort to provide new content and update the app. They also provide some content free on a separate website during this corona time. So I hope you keep doing the great work:)
About a year ago I was having a pretty hard time and came upon this app and I must admit it has really helped me! Especially when I was having some severe anxiety. It really helped me relax and has taught me to incorporate mindfulness into my daily life.
It literally says “7 days free, then 49,99€/year” but charges 49,99€ on your credit card straight away. Not cool.
As soon as I cancelled my subscription the constant notifications started. Toggling them off did not help as the app toggles them back on and merrily continues. Luckily the app doesn’t have any free daily calms anymore so there was no reason to not delete it.
This application has changed my mind. I downloaded it 2014-15 and have been using it ever since. Thank you so much. I have found the little things in life… Best Katja

15€ almost 16€ a month is too much in my opinion, I like the practises there and the vibe of the app is great but the price is not good..
I’ve used it for a few days and it seems to work. Needs some accessibility improvememts for screen readers.
