Using iXpand 3.0, it’s got the TeslaCam folder on it and plenty of videos and also works fine with other cam view apps. However with this app, every time it’s asking me to choose Tesla cam folder. I browse the folders but it can’t find the usb drive????
Downloaded it and got absolutely nothing a complete waste of time this is supposed to be an Apple app no way complete nonsense.
This works perfectly when I plug my SSD into my 2018 iPad Pro using a USB-C cable. Exactly what I was after. Can watch videos at 2x or 5x speed which is very useful.
How does the TeslaUSB or SMB share connection work?!
This app does exactly as the description says; and it’s quick too. I’m using it with a 128mb SanDisk Xtreme so it requires power to the Apple Lightning to USB3 camera adapter. Plug everything in, select the TeslaCam folder from the USB drive and the app will find and arrange al of the sub-folders and clips within. Little or no buffering; just plays straight away. Clips can be saved to the phone or shared. Well worth the money, and it’ll be very useful for insurance purposes should the need arise!
I’m sure it’s good. But sadly it doesn’t work with SanDisks iXpand drive. So it’s useless for me and a waste of my money.
Excellent app, works really well, and the app was swiftly updated to include rear cam so I have great confidence in the developer. Works with my Samsung T5 SSD and apple USB 3 camera adapter. Just need a way to export a merge of the 4 vids into 1...
The app and user interface is nice. It does everything I expected it to do.. I would have liked it to separate the videos I saved in a separate “Dashcam” folder like on the Tesla itself stores them - Sentry, Dashcam, and Track.. The app had the videos saved as Recent Clips and Saved Clips and of course, I accidentally deleted the video clips I was saving. So I give it a 4.5/5.0

This is a great app! It does exactly what it’s intended to do. Show all four Tesla cameras simultaneously. My only suggestion would be for the developer to switch the location of the two side cameras on the screen. When I look at the rear camera and see something on the left side, it’s also on the right side camera position. Just switch the two side camera video locations on the screen and this would be a perfect app!
