Cambush - Motion Detector Video Camera - Surveillance, Detection, Security, Spy Cam App

Cambush works fine. But it could be better. That makes the lack of an update in 3 years a bit of a red flag for me.

Worked great in my old iPhone to catch a fox and skunk in my garage.

intermittent motion detection. could not detect a 14 lbs cat walking up to a food bowl and eating. also the auto focus will constantly capture video when it is dawn or dusk until you stop the app.

It is a very functional app and is worth a try, but the screen optimization for iPhone 11 needs to be updated.

useless. it saves to your local and with no outside saving except dropbox... and that doesnt work. no password protection. anyone can just turn on the app and stop it. then erase the footage. no notification or anyway of being notified that motion is being detected. other than just for lulz. this app is completely useless. dont waste your money...

I use this app to keep track of who is entering my elderly parents apartment. Setup and linking to DropBox were easy. My only complaint is the motion sensitivity setting that triggers the camera to record is counter intuitive. High sensitivity means the camera is less sensitive to motion and low sensitivity means the camera highly sensitive to motion. Brilliant.

Once setup correctly it works like a charm. I would like to see night vision added to it. Hey guys don’t give up on us, update the app.

Set up my iPad overnight to figure out how Eek the mouse gets in and out of the kitchen. Left the kitchen light on overnight and plugged in the device. Set the sensitivity to high. Rewarded with 79 video segments of 3 to 25 seconds between midnight and 5:30 am. Most were of Eek exploring for and eating crumbs on the floor. The most valuable showed him darting under the dishwasher and cabinet drawers. He climbed up the drawers like a ladder to the counter. The motion detector did not begin quite early enough to show him emerge, but that is okay, we know enough. The video was good enough to post an amusing minute on Facebook. Next we can set up the Tin Cat, which will capture Eek harmlessly, then we put barriers on his secret entries. Thanks a million!

I like the app but I keep setting it up and coming back in a few hours to find that the battery drained after a short time and then the "low battery" alert came on -- blowing my cover. Why is it draining the battery just being on stand by? Would love it if a developer saw this and responded. Thanks.

i have trying to use this app for the past 3 days and im dissapointed 1. powersave mode will toggle off the recording somehow 2. so instead of using powersave mode to switch off the screen, i have decided to leave my ipad screen on the whole day, put the brightness to the lowest and made sure that the recording is on. then when i came back. for the past 12 hours, it recorded nothing. only 1 video that is when i enabled recording in the beginning. when i came back , i looked at the screen, the recording mode is still enabled but its simply not recording anything. really dissapointed and wish to get my money back
