Tried to open the app and got an obnoxious ad and then a bunch of confusing subscription options. How about you let me see what it does first? Unbelievable arrogance of app developers these days, you won’t get a cent out of me.

Can’t use without an internet connection.
The app itself is good. Probably the best pro camera app for iphone that i’ve found. However it won’t open without an internet connection, even though once it’s open it seems to work fine. Over 90% of the photo’s I take are out of cellular range and so if i haven’t already got the app open, or it closes while i’m out there it’s completely unusable. I’ve tried contacting support about this and never get a response. Same issue on the legacy version. I also paid for the legacy version before it was legacy and then when they updated to this version had to pay again, because they lowered the functionality of the legacy version.
was good now broken - won’t open without network
This was a very good app. Then I noticed it wouldn’t open if you were out of range of a mobile network. There used to be a workaround, using the touch and hold open option. That doesn’t work either any more. A camera app that doesn’t work when i’m hiking is absolutely useless. Very sad end. There appears to be a developer doing something to this app. PLEASE test and fix startup without a network. Easy to do. Airplane mode !

Used to be good
I’ve used Camera+ for over 10 years. It used to be awesome, but sometime last year it received an “update” that locked options behind an expensive subscription (luckily, my existing Pro purchase was respected, so I didn’t have to subscribe). Worst of all, now it only opens with an internet connection?! And if your internet is slow (like on 4g at a remote location), it’ll take ages to open and you’ll miss a shot opportunity. Avoid!

Fantastic quality, just make sure you have plenty of GB available if you want to work with the highest quality. It won’t disappoint 🤙🏼

A great mobile photo app with many useful features. Easy to use. Takes brilliant pics and is regularly updated. Highly recommended.
No 5x telephoto
I have iPhone 15 Max Pro and the app doesn’t allow use of the 5x lens. Absolutely useless.
