I used camera plus for many years with great results. The latest version (using iOS 18) is a disappointment because the app loads very slowly or NOT AT ALL without internet connection. That is just wrong. The features are great, but how can I use them quickly /on demand if the app doesn't start upon opening!?
The little "+" sign rotates for at least half a minute, and then I give up, because I need a picture NOW, not sometime in the future.

I don’t know what they did, but it’s pretty much impossible now to open the app. By the time it loads, your favorite scene is gone, lost. It was such a nice app, but as it is now, it’s unusable.

I had to stop using this app because it doesn’t open until there is an online connection(?) this is always true when in a low cellular connection but also often when WiFi is available. I like it when it works but it’s simply not dependable.

The actual camera portion of the app works great but there are a couple of concerns/issues. First big issue, the app wont open without a data connection, what is going on there ?  Why does this app require the ability to phone home?  Second there is a major background running issue. This app will absolutely kill my battery with background activity if I don’t force close it. These issues haven’t always existed but the data connection requirement seems to have happened in the last 6 months and the battery killer background process in the last release.

I’m unable to use Camera Plus because it crashes when I scroll between filters. I was a fan of the discontinued Camera+ and hoped this app would take its place. Maybe when the bugs are worked out. May need to delete and find an alternative.

When I tried to send a message from the contact page, nothing happened when I hit the submit button. Such a disappointing experience.

This is a great photo app for taking and editing pictures. 

The downside is that it does NOT WORK WITHOUT STRONG CELL SERVICE. That’s correct. It does not work without cell service. I find that odd, given that people who enjoy taking photographs, like myself, probably venture out into nature and areas without cell reception quite frequently. I also don’t understand why they couldn’t make it work without reception? The app simply will not load if you do not have adequate data service. This is a continuous point of frustration for me and I will no longer recommend this app or renew my subscription.

Horrific!! Simple controls but not intuitively laid out. Exposure, focus, white balance, zoom etc all there but no RAW. HEIF jpg and tiff. Who cares. I need raw and also missing is selection of the 3 lenses on iPhone pro. I deleted this app. Happy days!!

I’ve enjoyed this app for macro shots of my aquarium and the ability to properly adjust the white balance. I open it today because my tank looked particularly good, and it’s just black. I saved all the photos off the app to my phone, deleted the app, re-added it and it’s still not working! Please advise a solution. I would pay for it again if necessary.

I purchased this app and have been using it since it’s early days, but have had a lot more bugs in recent iterations. Most recently, I haven’t been able to change modes. It locked into macro mode, so I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice and now it’s locked in auto mode.
