I tried contacting support but the link is dead. 
My email notifications suddenly stopped a few weeks ago. After some digging, Microsoft state this app no longer conforms to their latest security protocols. Will this app be updated or is my security camera now useless?

Worked fine for a few months with a 64GB SD Card. Could log in when away from home on my iPhone to view live or check when I got an alert of movement on my home driveway. Then suddenly the camera’s wi-if signal disappeared and all past recordings were deleted. After re-booting, it now only records manually while at home. When away and online it won’t connect – so now completely useless for security!! All the camera does is activate its light at night, tracks movement etc, but cannot record anything as it forever saying “disconnected” or “offline”!!! Now just a dummy camera on the wall!!🤬

Camera quality is decent and the sound isn’t to bad. It does have a slight delay when you watch back but it serves it’s purpose and that’s down to the app. The app is a nightmare and I have changed broadband company’s and WiFi passwords a few times and it’s such a pain because our camera is outside the bedroom window first floor so we have to lean out the window, unscrew it and go through the whole process again just to add the new WiFi. It’s like we’re adding the camera for the first time again. So annoying! Why can’t we just add a new WiFi via the app? 
To be fair it’s the same with ring products but we don’t have to hang out of a bedroom window for that one. 
3*** for picture quality because it is good for the price. But the app needs to do better and I really would like the app and device to sync up better.

Bought the camera and powered up on the tabletop and all seemed ok.  After hanging on the wall could no longer connect to the camera even with my phone next to it.  No wifi transmission from the camera.  Emailed support and had no response at all.  Now packing up the box and sending back.  Utter waste of time and money

The app set up is fine viewing the camera is fine but when you have a 360 camera and it does not behave to the detection zones you have set it becomes a huge issue sort it out

The app is okay to setup the camera but when you press the record button and move on to the next page, it doesn’t retain last position of record. The intelligent mode is okay.  Please look into this and resolve/ update the code behind the record button.

I’m guessing the latest update has problems. To be fair it wasn’t too difficult to set up, could of been a little easier,but now I’m knackered. The camera appears to work as the lights come on when I appear in view but I wouldn’t know as all I get in the app is connecting. I can’t get into the settings as it won’t let me. I’ve scanned the QR Code and still nothing to get it going. Taking it down if this is the reliability of the security system

The app layout is great, good functionality and simple to use. 

The bad point is either it or the camera crashes all the time, the connection is lost and I have to delete the app and reboot the camera and start all over again. 

Shame really as other than the lost connection it’s great.

I bought an ieGeek external PTZ camera because of the many features it advertised. It was good but broke after about 4 months. They promote CamHipro app, and whilst the app was just ok as in workable it was the ieGeek camera which dragged it down to one star rating. The company refused to help even though it was under one year warranty. ‘Pay cheap, pay twice’,  as the expression goes. So buy a dearer and global brand and save time and heartache.

Can’t get either camera to work since the update. One says disconnected all the time and the other ones deleted and I can’t readd it because it needs either a QR code which I don’t have or the cameras UID number again which I don’t have. The cameras on the side of the building so can’t even take it down. 
Can’t add it via my local connection either

Every time there’s an update this app crashes it time you got this sorted. There’s a lot of people spending hours trying to get this app working. 
Its now getting very annoying. You spend money on a product that you expect to work with the only app it works with.
