cannot connect

sabalore on

Literally impossible to stably connect to the A6400 as a remote. In app troubleshooting is no help, I’ve given up entirely. Don’t waste your time.

Work in some ways

Matt South Burnaby on

I bought the Camrote app earlier this summer because I wanted to take time lapse shots of the night sky while on a trip far away from any light pollution. While using the app on the trip, I realized that there is no way to focus my camera on an individual star before starting the time lapse shots, so the pictures came out blurry. If there is a way to do this, I’d like to know how. Otherwise I’d say that this app is only good for time lapses during the day. My camera is a Sony A6000.

Barely comparable with Sony a5000 👎🏼

If you need an app to use as just a camera remote.. then this app is fine. If you wish you be able to adjust settings and such, you’re super out of luck.

Once I figured out the A7

Works great! It took me a little bit to sort out the remote software in the camera, once connected it’s great, after the initial setup it connects in seconds.

Epic garbage

Impossible to connect, beginning with the camera for qr scanning being 90 degrees off. Also no manual connection with no feedback or explanation. worth less than 0$

Great

I don’t care about transferring photos to my iPhone as I edit on my computer. One thing that would be super amazing is being able to see when I hit infinity mode in manual focus. Otherwise why the hell did I pay 80 bucks on Sony physical remote last year on my Sony A7II… PS love the photo stacking seems like an amazing feature that I look forward to using.

Raw transfer not working

I can’t seem to transfer raw files to my iPhone. It always transfers the jpg version.

24 shots only time lapse. What a joke. developer must make it limitless number of shots

Gursevk on

Timelapse feature of this seems interested, but before buying pl rethink: can u make movie just in 24 shots? Or u want few hundred shots if not thousands? With This u cannot shoot more than 24 shots, i bought and tried it. The developer must make it limitless number of shots. There is no need to transfer these shots immediately ( if that is a hindrance) but I need limitless number of shots. 24 shots only time lapse. What a joke.

Downloading photos to iPhone 11 does not work
