When my eyes are burning and my hay fever symptoms are peaking having a independent and trusted friend to reaffirm these symptoms is reassuring. I am telling my family and friends that I am suffering from an invisible condition. Having some evidence to support what I already know gives me some peace.
The app is useful as a convenient way to get forecasts, but I have to use another app (Air Rater) to get the actual pollen counts. For observations, this app only includes a difficult-to-read rating scale time series.
Very handy but takes a bit to load.
Now that the app is clogged with ads, it is nigh unusable.
There seems to be no relationship between the pollen forecast and the actual daily reading, which doesn’t inspire confidence in the forecast. The graphs of actual measurements (as opposed to forecasts) shown in website/FB posts don’t match the data graphs shown in the app. Are these supposed to be showing the same data? Who knows as there’s no info to aid interpretation. The graph of historical data in the app is a bit of a user interface fail all round. I was happy to pay $20 to support research and I wanted to like this app but it’s very poor.
As an allergy sufferer I have found the Pollen Count very helpful and wear a mask when needed, however I am still suffering from something in the air and Pollen count has shut down. I would like Pollen Count to include Air Quality throughout the year.

A very useful App. It's great to be able to see the actual pollen counts and the long range forecast really helps you plan ahead!
Tells me what I need to know about the pollen count each day. I like being able to contribute too by answering the survey.
