Capture Go is like the younger kid brother, where the rules are a little simpler and the game is easier to learn. And yet, Capture Go is still quite interesting and challenging. In addition, many of the skills you develop playing Capture Go will carry over directly, if you ever decide to learn Go later. Play at Level 1 is easy enough for children to have fun and win. Play at Level 3 is hard enough for new adult players to be challenged. I created this app for my six year old grandson who was showing interest in my Go playing, but is not yet mature enough to understand ko fights, trade-offs, and sacrifice. This app allows him to practice capturing stones – which he loves to do – while avoiding capture himself. When we get together, he often asks, "Papa, can I play Capture Go on your phone?" ## Capture Go Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/78/d9/2c/78d92cfb-b07b-47ed-fa4c-a3c78fe96fe4/pr_source.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple115/v4/e5/50/02/e550025e-d3ca-7025-2179-0c1a44624165/pr_source.png/1242x2208.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple125/v4/2d/bd/32/2dbd327a-071d-ea62-050d-3e42bdd1a970/pr_source.png/1242x2208.png) ## Capture Go Rating Breakdown in United States - 5 stars: 4 (67%) - 4 stars: 0 (0%) - 3 stars: 1 (17%) - 2 stars: 0 (0%) - 1 stars: 1 (17%) ## Capture Go Reviews in United States ### ***-- "Mute" Needs a mute option -- Big-Papa!, 2025-02-15 ### ***** "Perfect for what it is" Perfect app to teach capture go, which is an excellent stepping stone to actual go. The only thing that would make it better is a version where the first person to capture THREE stones wins. :) That’s a nice intermediary between capture go and regular go. -- hageibdkek, 2024-09-16 ### ***** "Simple and Fun" I’ve just heard of Go and wanted to see what it is about. This app is the perfect starter. Simple fun introduction. Thank you for creating this. -- SW222, 2020-12-07 [View all Capture Go reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Capture Go Discovered Keywords - capture go ## Apps Similar to Capture Go - [Tygem Go Lite](https://apptail.io/app/tygem-go-lite-Ybb/united-states) - [Surround - Online Go client](https://apptail.io/app/surround-online-go-client-Pwcc/united-states) - [囲碁くま詰碁](https://apptail.io/app/app-Uwcc/united-states) - [AI KataGo Go: Tsumego](https://apptail.io/app/ai-katago-go-tsumego-Nccd/united-states) - [The World Go](https://apptail.io/app/the-world-go-Qccd/united-states) - [GoGrinari](https://apptail.io/app/gogrinari-OvOd/united-states) - [Tygem Go Pro](https://apptail.io/app/tygem-go-pro-nRRi/united-states) - [타이젬 사활 바둑](https://apptail.io/app/app-yNan/united-states) - [ScribeGo](https://apptail.io/app/scribego-DJbp/united-states) - [Dango - Play Online Go Game](https://apptail.io/app/dango-play-online-go-game-nyeq/united-states) ## Capture Go Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/united-states) - [Singapore](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/singapore) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/canada) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/germany) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/australia) - [Russia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/russia) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/united-kingdom) - [Denmark](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/denmark) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/dominican-republic) - [Algeria](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/algeria) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/ecuador) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/egypt) - [Spain](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/spain) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/france) - [Greece](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/greece) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/ireland) - [Israel](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/israel) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/italy) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/south-korea) - [Kuwait](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/kuwait) - [Kazakhstan](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/kazakhstan) - [Lebanon](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/lebanon) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/mexico) - [Malaysia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/malaysia) - [Nigeria](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/nigeria) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/norway) - [New Zealand](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/new-zealand) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/philippines) - [Pakistan](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/pakistan) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/portugal) - [Saudi Arabia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/saudi-arabia) - [Thailand](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/thailand) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/ukraine) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/vietnam) - [United Arab Emirates](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/united-arab-emirates) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/south-africa) - [Argentina](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/argentina) - [Brazil](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/brazil) - [Belarus](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/belarus) - [Chile](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/chile) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/colombia) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/capture-go-ZGEe/czechia) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
