CE SUNT SERIA VIN ȘI DECODORUL VIN?

VIN este un acronim pentru „vehicle identification number” (serie de șasiu auto). Este vorba despre un cod unic de identificare alcătuit din 17 caractere, specific unui autovehicul, autobuz, camion sau unei remorci anume. Toate evenimentele importante din viața unei mașini - de la ieșirea din fabrică și până la cimitirul de mașini - sunt înregistrate pe baza seriei VIN.
