Why do I need to download an app to find out I need to download a different app to then log in to access the user interface which is just an API library to opens and in app web browser which has no cookie or profile transference that then requires me to LOG IN AGAIN!

The UI is clunky, poorly formatted, poorly sized for mobile. Somehow, you have created an on device application that is worse than your web browser application…

### *---- "Misleading Pricing and Terrible Customer Service"
I would not recommend Care.com. Before paying for a membership, I entered my budget and was shown tutors who appeared affordable. After joining, I discovered that the advertised pricing was completely different from what providers actually charged.

One tutor was listed at $15/hour but sent me her actual rates of $45 to $100. Several people I contacted even told me they were incorrectly listed as providing childcare! 

I contacted numerous people, received very few responses, and never found a tutor.

When I requested a refund and provided screenshots proving the discrepancies, Care.com denied my request and then closed my support case, telling me to start over.

I paid $63.93 for a service that was not accurately represented. Extremely disappointing experience. I would not use this company again.

I’ve been using the app for almost 3 weeks now and haven’t found a suitable nanny. Either they don’t send references and CPR/First Aid documents or they fail to show up to the video interviews that they accept or they haven’t updated their profile with availability.

### *---- "DO NOT USE THIS APP! DONT USE!"
Update: I was advised to contact this place because they claimed to want to make things right. Their response on here was just for show. Of course they DID NOTHING! Do not waste your time on this site or waste your time communicating with the representatives. They do not help or want to help at all. Site is full of people who flake or don’t respond after agreeing to jobs. 

First time using this app because I have a 17 month old. Had an agreement of pay, time and date with a woman on there for babysitting. She ends up no showing and not responding to my messages. Completely lost confidence and faith in this site and app altogether and to top it off the company refuses to give me a refund on all the money I paid to join. Don’t waste your money or time on this app when you have people like that pretending they’re gonna babysit and a company who refuses to make things right.

Run from this app. Never had such a hard time with an app. Redundant, I think I entered my kids in like 10 times and it still broke. Edit doesn’t work, modifications don’t work. Really one of the poorest app experiences of my life. Fire these devs today!

Nothing but mistakes every where in this app! I demand a refund! Seriously, nothing but improper data, misconfigured actions in every part of the app. This company has missed the mark here in a big way, wasted $ I will never get back. Shame on the product manager and devs.

1.) mis matched address and zip codes

2.) added kids and other info over and over and still asks for your info.

3.) Bedroom / bathrooms sizes mismatched. 

4.) when you book a job, you keep getting people trying to get it. We hired someone, then 20 people still applied and kept texting I’m available, it’s filled, you click a button that’s says hired, but the app doesn’t show the others and you get endless messages from period with your personal info. 

5.) edit profile, and some fields are perma locked, randomly, can’t change basic details.

6.) paying them is the only thing that Works perfect. 

We did find a babysitter, thankfully we don’t have use the app anymore but lost the $52 startup.

App has you make a basic account, which takes forever, but that is not even functional whatsoever.

It wants 40$ a month just to respond or review messages to potential nannies.

Looking at the blanked out responses I can tell that it’s simply visualized as a phishing attempt to get me to subscribe for money.

(The app promised basic functionality, but that was a complete lie)

Welcome to pure capitalism.
Pay a month for nothing!
Should be called Careful.com

This company if you work do the hiring and then ask to hire a caregiver will make these two different emails. They also have three or four high price charges that you have to pay along with having to get rec background check because they won't let you use the same email on both accounts.
