CareerBuilder: Job Search

Poor search results that do not match filters. Scam listing after scam listing with no way to report them.

I added “Supports Veterans” to my search criteria based on the fact that CareerBuilder included it as a search preference and ZERO jobs appeared! “Thank You For Your Service” is just a phrase. Good to know!

I put my account on pause and I’m still being spammed by all these temp agencies all over the country. I won’t be using this app ever again it’s not the same as he used to be in there early 2000s

You shouldn’t have an income level of either 20k and 40k because you have no fricking jobs! I’ve got 27 years experience and I can’t live on 20k I make close to 38k and you have no options or jobs for that income! You’re a waste of time

After downloading the app and uploading my resume almost immediately I have been completely bombarded with spam job offers via text and email. I’m not also receiving non stop vehicle warranty spam texts. Suffice it to say that Career Builder has completely exposed my information to the worst of the worst. Avoid at all costs!!

I’ve been looking or jobs for last couple years no luck never had this problem before

I have my location set, yet I keep getting jobs that are at least two hours away. CareerBuilder has gone down hill since the last time I used it.

When you first put something into filters it always defaults back to the original selection

I’ve always used Careerbuilders in the past. It’s always had great employment for me I had a job for 10 years from career builders and that was a great experience for me. That’s why I depend on them to find me work again! The company I was working for this time had company finance issues so they just let me go April 24 because of financial issues with the company, but I’m ready to get back on the pavement and start running and yes, I love career builders thank you and have a great day!

This app is the worst and it’s very restrictive. The old career builder platform is way better and people friendly. You used to be able to load a resume with any size and now I get a error message all of the time. So the. You are forced to fill out the template that career builder has made. This is a huge inconvenience. As a result I can’t benefit from this site anymore.
