Pre approvals aren’t really pre approvals. When you select a car to buy and use their system the dealership never gets your application of the dealer doesn’t use their lenders or the lender won’t approve that particular car … ever. I bought a vehicle that I saw on the site but the prices was not done through the site but the cart was advertised as being a GREAT DEAL because the car was being sold for $6000 under. So when I could another vehicle that wanted more and was figuring That I would be good to trade it in yet horrified when their own site now values my vehicle as being $4000 upside down and that’s after putting down $2500 . Can’t trust nothing these days -- CarF”#*us, 2026-09-10 ### ***** "Enjoy" Good app -- bukutu06, 2026-09-10 ### ****- "Rating" Easy to use -- Riot_Pilot, 2026-09-09 ### ***** "Denis" Hondu22 -- Montaña será, 2026-09-09 ### ***** "Love it" CarGurus is a great tool and I love that it keeps finding more matches for me. Helps so much in the car search. -- Sportygirl41, 2026-09-08 ### ***** "Great Value & Excellent Rides" Shopping for a nice ride? Car Gurus has undoubtedly the biggest selection of new or used cars at an unbeatable price ! -- Venus501, 2026-09-08 ### ***** "Long-Time User" Extremely user-friendly. There simply is no better service to use when searching for a car. -- CorbanJW, 2026-09-07 ### ***** "Re: CarGurus-" Good car to check out -- jimsterjam, 2026-09-06 ### ***** "Oj" I bought four cars from cg -- Dal loo ety, 2026-09-06 ### ***** "Its VERY good window shopping, let alone buying" I like looking at cars, and seeing cars that are reasonably priced (usually just a tad over) its amazing as a dream. I’m in highschool (2026) and thinking one of these will be my future self car is amazing -- ChiliTheFoud, 2026-09-05 ### ***** "Blue Hunnit" Very good app -- Bigg money blue, 2026-09-04 ### ****- "NEEDS MORE NEW DEALERS!" It needs to have more dealers connected in the new car section. I don’t care what they have to do to sacrifice. -- Cool Guy 67 Giga Chad, 2026-09-03 ### *---- "Data harvesting" Car Gurus has already suffered a massive data leak and they require your email address before you can browse their public listings. This is an invasion of privacy. They should not require casual shoppers to give them this information. I am boycotting them. -- Seth4TX86, 2026-09-02 ### *---- "Wish I could get past entering my zip code" Wish I could get past entering my zip code -- Cmstskrt, 2026-09-01 ### ***** "Ease of Use" Got in a bind and needed to find a car quickly. Very nice system. Only complaint is the reviews aren’t really used enough, that’s not car gurus fault through. Sometimes it gets overloaded when you go to saved cars but it’s understandable and does not hinder much. -- Dan pd, 2026-08-31 ### ***** "Dodge challenger lover" I love looking at your challenges. You have some beautiful cars. Thanks a lot. -- johnnyw77, 2026-08-30 ### *---- "I dont want to ship my purchase" I love the app I just can't stand the fact that every time you do a search it automatically shows your vehicles that are shipped from across the country. Every single time you have to uncheck that selection it forces you to see vehicles that are out of the state thousands of miles away I'm not gonna purchase a vehicle site unseen I'm not gonna purchase a vehicle I can't test drive this app would be a 10 out of 10 if it wasn't for them constantly forcing you to view this and having to uncheck the option for delivery vehicles with every single search -- Thikidd925, 2026-08-29 ### *---- "Not a buyer friendly app" Tried to contact carguru, your tier 1 folks don’t know what to do with the information. If you want to improve please contact me again. As a buyer having an app with dealers or sellers who are transparent is essential. On CarGurus the dealerships regularly hide a number of items. On the price many have hidden charges which are often labeled as removable options once you get to see the car. Overall Autotrader has better filters and allows for a higher quality search for buyers . -- iladrodavlas, 2026-08-29 [View all CarGurus reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## CarGurus Store Rankings | Chart | Country | Category | Rank | |-------|---------|----------|------| | Top Free | Canada | Shopping | #29 | | Top Free | United Kingdom | Shopping | #37 | | Top Free | United States | Shopping | #58 | | Top Free | Canada | Overall | #177 | | Top Free | United Kingdom | Overall | #185 | ## CarGurus Discovered Keywords - car care - cars for sale - edmunds - more - new - car shopping - car buying - used car - used cars - like ## Apps Similar to CarGurus - [Cars.com - New & Used Cars](https://apptail.io/app/carscom-new-used-cars-Uv/united-states) - [AutoTrader: Sell & Buy Cars](https://apptail.io/app/autotrader-sell-buy-cars-pB/united-states) - [Edmunds - Shop Cars For Sale](https://apptail.io/app/edmunds-shop-cars-for-sale-DO/united-states) - [CARFAX - New & Used Cars](https://apptail.io/app/carfax-new-used-cars-VMb/united-states) - [TrueCar Used Cars and New Cars](https://apptail.io/app/truecar-used-cars-and-new-cars-rrd/united-states) - [Autotrader - Shop & Buy Cars](https://apptail.io/app/autotrader-shop-buy-cars-kWd/united-states) - [Autolist - Used Cars for Sale](https://apptail.io/app/autolist-used-cars-for-sale-Qai/united-states) - [Carvana: Buy/Sell Used Cars](https://apptail.io/app/carvana-buysell-used-cars-MLm/united-states) - [Auto Navigator New & Used Cars](https://apptail.io/app/auto-navigator-new-used-cars-ySq/united-states) - [AutoTempest - Car Search](https://apptail.io/app/autotempest-car-search-qnKm/united-states) ## CarGurus Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/cargurus-used-new-cars-MBe/united-states) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/cargurus-used-new-cars-MBe/canada) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/cargurus-used-new-cars-MBe/united-kingdom) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/cargurus-used-new-cars-MBe/ireland) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
