So not only do I have to pay £47 a year just to turn DRLs off and on each weekend while camping, it only works with an internet signal! I’ve been unable to use this several times in remote locations which makes it even less cost effective than I thought. Please Carista, make your prices more reasonable and give options to pay far less per option instead of charging for everything I will never need or use. And no, a monthly subscription is not more cost effective as suggested in the previous review

Used this for years and has been brilliant but recently updated to eliminate any devices I suspect that aren't Carista. I wouldn't mind if the same devices that worked for a few years didn't suddenly stop. I guess a way of ejecting those who purchased lifetime licenses before the sun model.

I have been using Carista perfectly fine for the last 7-8 years with my WiFi ELM327 adaptor.

Now all of a sudden I cannot use it anymore because “support has been removed” according the last few versions of patch notes.

Great… thanks for making my purchase useless and alienating users that already have perfectly working OBD II adaptors!

Had to get a new TPMS sensor fitted after one broke whilst  getting my wheels refurbished. Garage couldn’t update the car with the new TPMS sensor with the equipment they had and the dealership wanted £90 to do it. Saw that Carista could perform this function for my model of car (Lexus RX), so decided to order one and give it a go myself. Can’t comment on the diagnostics or customisations since I haven’t used them, however programming the new TPMS sensor was really simple. Garage had given me the codes for the old and new TPMS sensors. Found the old code from the list, updated it with the new one, and hit save. Few minutes later the TPMS light was out. Saved myself a few quid and can do it again myself in the future. Yeah there’s a subscription, but now that I’ve got the dongle, it’ll more than likely only cost the price of a months subscription in future.

So it comes up with manufacture specific code but I have to go off and figure it out? Isn’t that what this tool is for is benefiting us German car owners? Isn’t that your job to tell me what’s wrong with a car? The customisation and service tools are great but the diagnostics are a joke. Can tell me some codes but not all, yet I’m in an Audi and you built a whole company specifically saying can give manufacture specific codes only for you to not do just that it seems
