After the last update, I can’t connect to my BMW 3 series. I need to uninstall/reinstall my app… Please resolve. Thank you!

It’s a scam
The scanner don’t work and they refuse to refund.
Great app
Use it for several VAG cars. Always prompt and right. Great app!!!
Not good!!!
for some time the application no longer works, it scans but no longer displays the errors as an example, only as a number. when I want to see only the errors on a certain module, it tells me that it needs to rescan, etc. smart mechanic does not work, although I have a paid subscription! I sent an email to the support team and received no response!
Doesn’t worth the money
You don’t buy a scanner. You buy a license paid annually. You can read the codes with any scanner and look up the detailed info on internet. I would understand the annual license if the technical info changes, but my car is 14 years old so I really doubt that’s the case for me - and many others for that matter. And you don’t get any notification that your billing period is up, you will find out that you paid 100€ for another year when the bank notifies you or when you read your bank statement - not a nice feeling.
Needs more work
A lot of problems with this app. Server down when you need the most, connection problem and all sort of stuff like this. Have the Carly adapter but sometimes just doesn’t want to connect . Other times just gives me Connection or server error when I try to diagnose. When it works it gives you a lot of data.✅. Needs more improvement to be a reliable tool.
No support for G15 in 2024 still
Edit: in 2024 still a lot of modules do not work in Carly. I am an owner of Carly since 2015. Today in 2022, they still have no support for 8 series G15. When I emailed them, they told me to select G14… but that comes with a lot of errors, G14 being a Convertible model. Also, I can not read the battery information.
Forces the user to update
If you don’t have the latest version of the app, the popup with Update available has No UPDATE LATER button to Close that dumb popup and let the user use the app and diagnoze the car.
Smart Mechanic
The application worked well until a while ago. I have bought the app for home use to check my 3 series from time to time. Since a while ago the application misbehaves. You connect the phone to the wifi of the dongle, try to run a scan and then you are prompted that the app cannot connect to some “Smart Mechanic” servers. What is this? I assume in the middle of the diagnosis I should connect the app to the internet, cutting the connection to the dongle?! Hitting Cancel will eventually time out but this is annoying as it takes way to long to run a simple scan. Also, firing up the application, you connect to the wifi of the dongle, then the app complains about the internet connection for refreshing some data. Well, the behaviour of the application becomes annoying
Scam
It is a very bad product. For Renault and other brands it doesn't give you correct information. The OBD returns me 40 errors even though the car has no problem . it is a big scam. don't buy!
