They charged for a year under some medical service charge. I finally noticed what was going on and contacted them. They told me oh well no refunds. Charged me around $400. Be cautious about this company and what you’re signing up for because they do not care at all. -- behsjiajfhbwuqjhshs, 2026-09-28 ### ***** "Thumbs up" Now that you can print the recipes you can’t beat this app. Recipes are top notch nothing is boring -- Cmafia01, 2026-06-09 ### *---- "Limited Options" I was hoping for more breakfast options other than eggs since I don’t tolerate eggs, right now I’m substituting fairlife protein shakes for food for breakfast, I only saw one recipe I might try for making breakfast sausage other than that it’s basically leftover steak strips or chicken -- jrzy_dvl, 2026-03-24 ### *---- "Scam" They sell you on a personalized meal plan in a booklet. They then generate an AI slop PDF that they delete after about a week. Avoid! -- MPHesq, 2026-03-11 ### *---- "They won’t stop charging my account" I’ve never signed into this account and they’ve charged me for three months now and have no idea how to get ahold of them without opening an account -- rd1488, 2026-02-24 ### ***** "Stick to the plan" It is a safe way to consistently loose weight -- Jrostocil, 2026-02-21 ### ****- "Jim" Great App and program -- Wild rebel 598, 2026-02-11 ### **--- "App" Well I bought the book with the understanding the app was free and to my surprise I was charged 31 dollars for what? I don’t have a clue -- Dale69696969, 2026-02-09 ### *---- "Watch Out for Automatic Subscription Charges." I’m leaving this review to make others aware of a practice I experienced with Carnimeal. During my purchase, my account was automatically enrolled in a subscription that I did not knowingly select or authorize. When I noticed the charge and contacted customer support to explain that I had not agreed to the subscription, the issue was not resolved. What concerns me most is not just the charge itself, but the way subscriptions can be added without clear, intentional consent from the customer. This is something people should be very careful about. I strongly recommend that anyone using this platform review their checkout selections closely and monitor their statements to ensure they are not enrolled in services they did not intend to purchase. Consumers deserve transparency and clear authorization when it comes to recurring charges. -- josegms, 2026-01-30 ### ***** "1st week under my belt" I started the first week without having access to the app and really only understanding that meat was on the agenda with salt as the spice… Once I found out, I could add things avocado, hard cheeses, and simple spices, now the sky is the limit. -- Devildog_4evr, 2026-01-13 ### *---- "This is a Scam" I received my book but I keep getting a monthly $30.99 charge for nothing. Don’t signup for the App or the book. You will keep needing to get a new credit card from your bank. -- kchf06a, 2025-12-26 ### *---- "Beware" Surprise reacting changes. -- Jscoundrel, 2025-12-23 ### *---- "Scam" Was unable after several attempts to even sign in. Refered me to customer support which is nothing more than automated emails that give you the run around. Asked for refund but refused. Can’t even get into app to cancel. Ongoing. -- rics pics, 2025-12-22 ### *---- "BUYER BEWARE! Unexpected recurring charges!!!!" I paid $49.99 for their overpriced ebook, then got hit with an extra $30.99 monthly charge even though I never logged in or used the service. I canceled as soon as I saw it, and they still refused to refund that first subscription charge. I didn’t even know that I had been signed up for a service at all. I thought that I was just buying the book. When I contacted them for a refund, I was told that the recurring nature of the service was clearly laid out during the checkout process. When I assured them it was not, they told me that it was in the terms and conditions. When I asked them to send me a copy of the terms and conditions, they refused. Their refund policy states that they can provide a refund at their discretion. The cookbook, in my opinion, is not worth $50 but I was willing to accept the fact that I had just made a bad purchase. The monthly charge for an account that I had neither set up nor logged into (I didn’t even know I had it) was what I wanted to be refunded but was denied. Carnimeal will reply to this review that the recurring charges are clearly stated. THEY ARE NOT!! Do not assume you are making a one time purchase. If you do buy it, (I wish I never did) cancel immediately unless you truly want a monthly subscription. -- Sd1997MBS, 2025-12-17 ### ***** "Hígado" Hervido con laurel y vino -- LillyPipo, 2025-12-11 ### ***** "Worth it" Comparatively it’s an expensive book to have my name on the front of it but in all honesty the information in it combined with the app is absolutely worth it. After years of nothing but gaining despite my healthy lifestyle: eating clean and gym routine I decided to do Lion first. That’s no joke! I found it most difficult as I have a lot of mental aversions to meat. I then added eggs and pork. Game changer. I was finally eating enough. After 2 weeks I have added heavy cream and avocado to my diet. 3 weeks in and I’m leaving this review and reporting I’m down 23 pounds. 38 more to achieve my goal. Not that the number is the goal, health and body composition are the priority but you get the idea. -- AmyP2977, 2025-12-02 ### *---- "Less Than mid" Online when going through buying the book, it slams you with 20 questions of add ons. It wasn’t very clear, and I apparently bought the app access instead of the ebook. I asked to exchange it and basically got hit with a “to bad, so sad”(of course not word for word). I made sure to check if it was a subscription and cancelled it. The app, less than mid. I personally did not like the interface of it, it is “my personal preference.” In my opinion, the app was 2/3 stars-> 0 stars, the online support wasn’t great nor good. Too bad for me, I can’t hit 0 stars. -- Tacos.808, 2025-12-01 ### ***** "Starting" Amazing -- Freddy Cova, 2025-11-30 ### *---- "Beware! This is a SCAM!!!" The product is as generic as it can get, and any benefit it gives is overshadowed by the fact that there is a forced recurring charge that you as a customer are not even informed of until it is too late. THIS IS A BIG SCAM, and the company is willing to sacrifice their reputation for a $30 charge. The customer service is practically non-existent, and you are responded to with generic templates emails. You are never informed of a recurring charge on your invoice/proof of purchase (the wording is “one-month plan”, instead of something like “monthly plan” which would be indicative of needing impetus for cancellation. There is only some small print in a passing page during your initial purchase. There is nothing sent to you either before you are charged for the recurring fee, and you only know when you are charged and they will refuse to refund you, and will not be able to show you any proof that you were indeed informed, other than that passing small print in your initial purchase. They will hide under the verbiage that all purchases are non-refundable. This is a hoax, and I have not dealt with a more deceptive company. -- K3nnyL, 2025-11-25 ### *---- "Feels like a SCAM" Went through the app to order the cookbook. In all of this they sign you up for a $31 subscription. So a month later when you see the charge and reach out, they tell you too bad, we won’t refund you. Keep in mind, in the app there is nothing about viewing any subscriptions. So you do not know about it until the charge hits. Seems shady to be automatically signing people up for outrageous subscriptions, yet having nowhere on the app to view your “subscription”. Looks like I will be disputing this charge with my CC company. Be cautious. -- nsjshdhjen, 2025-11-21 [View all Carnimeal reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Carnimeal Discovered Keywords - carnimeal ## Carnimeal Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/united-states) - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/united-kingdom) - [Australia](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/australia) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/canada) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/germany) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/france) - [Italy](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/italy) - [Austria](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/austria) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/luxembourg) - [Poland](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/poland) - [Portugal](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/portugal) - [Lithuania](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/lithuania) - [South Africa](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/south-africa) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/ireland) - [Colombia](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/colombia) - [China](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/china) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/latvia) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/malta) - [Mexico](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/mexico) - [Egypt](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/egypt) - [Philippines](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/philippines) - [Romania](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/romania) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/sweden) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/senegal) - [Türkiye](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/turkey) - [Ukraine](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/ukraine) - [Bermuda](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/bermuda) - [Vietnam](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/vietnam) - [Norway](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/norway) - [Finland](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/finland) - [Ecuador](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/ecuador) - [Dominican Republic](https://apptail.io/app/carnimeal-DDcx/dominican-republic) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
