First of all I sometimes can’t see prices without logging in, secondly I got blocked by the app for absolutely no reason, it claimed that the reason for me being blocked was “I was clicking too fast or there was a robot on my server” even though I was opening the app for the first time in the morning and the only people around my were my family also trying to browse carsales. Instead of trying to use this app just use the web browser version.

This app isn’t good anymore and is really geared to dealerships selling cars now. There is no transparency on when a car was listed and the history of changes to pricing. Therefore buyers have no bargaining power. Drive.com.au provides a lot more valuable info for car buyers.

Since the recent new update the App continually freezes as soon as I add any filters or searches. I close/flickout the App and reopen it but then the same thing occurs. This is disappointing as I use this App frequently and now my experience is lost. Please fix these issues.

Carsales needs to screen its potential buyers more thoroughly as there appear to be significant numbers of aggressive trolls sending strange, time wasting messages. Even after I blocked one of these people the messages continued to reach me, up to several times per day.

Each time I have used Carsales to sell a vehicle I have found it to be the most successful platform when comparing to FB marketplace and gumtree. Carsales seem to generate enquiries that are much better quality and you are not constantly replying to the “is this still available” tyre kickers 👍
