You can download the app from the US store. But when you launch the app it freezes at the start up screen. Nothing else happens.

I understand that Apple restricts NFC access for transit apps to EU regions. However, it might be worth reconsidering publishing the app on the US App Store if it is not usable by travelers from outside the EU.

Having the app available globally creates confusion for international visitors who download it expecting it to work, only to find it freezes or fails to function. This leads to frustration and negative reviews, which I’m sure is not your intention.

Perhaps adding a clear note in the App Store description explaining that “This app only works for iPhones set to an EU region due to Apple NFC restrictions” or restricting availability to EU countries would help set proper expectations.

I downloaded both apps and purchased the t-usual card. Would not work at station. Got help and was told it will not work on US iPhones. Must have a Spain Apple account to work. Will call for refund or charge back. Very frustrating and cost me a lot of time. DO NOT USE!! Just buy a regular card.

Compré una tarjeta virtual de tres zonas, la cual solo pude utilizar dos veces. Después, dejó de funcionar. Reclamé por varios medios, seguí todas las indicaciones que me dieron, pero finalmente me informaron que no había solución. Solicité una tarjeta temporal como mínimo, pero tampoco me la proporcionaron.

Ante esta situación, he comenzado una campaña para recolectar firmas: ya llevo más de 5,000 apoyos para exigir que TMB se responsabilice por las tarjetas virtuales que han caducado injustamente. No me detendré aquí: pienso llevar el caso hasta las últimas instancias, incluyendo la defensoría, y difundiré esta situación en redes sociales.

Pagué más de 40 euros por una tarjeta que apenas pude usar. Cada viaje posterior he tenido que pagarlo aparte, sufriendo un perjuicio económico grave. Considero esto un robo y una estafa. Exijo una respuesta y una solución real.

I paid in the app and it doesn’t even work. Amazing that there are three separate apps and none of them work. Utter incompetence. Literally the only thing they should have done is offered it through Apple Wallet. That’s it.
