The evaluation done by Cashify technician was cross checked with an expert locally and was confirmed to be wrong. Even escalation does not help and they are not ready to even listen to you. They, obviously, justify their stand - which indicated their modus operandi. (their response to this review will indicate and confirm the same). I have the photos shared with them and their response. Their application is the biggest scam in the history of Indian commerce. They will show you any price and when you visit the store they will give you half the price. Moreover, their saleperson will abuse and insult you and when you complaint about it to customer care, they will do nothing but support that behaviour. The salesperson not only insulted and misbehaved with me, but also told me that he will give me half the price for my phone than what shown on the app and he doesnt care whatever i do. He also called the cashify a fraud app himself and told me to sell my phone anywhere else as he doesnt care. I would recommend you please trade in your old devices while you buy a new one rather giving to this scammers website and the after sells support also isn’t too pleasant. After entering all correct details on the app, Cashify showed a price of ₹19,000. Based on this price, I scheduled the pickup. However, when the Cashify agent arrived to inspect the laptop, he suddenly reduced the price to just ₹5,000, without giving any valid or convincing reason. There were no major issues that were not already mentioned in the app. This feels like a misleading pricing strategy where high prices are shown online just to attract customers, and then the price is drastically reduced at the time of pickup. My time and effort were completely wasted. Unfortunately saw this report after the deal. In the App there is no remarks column to even report this. So it becomes a once sided affair, a thumbs up or a thumbs down. The agent on the pretext of showing me the invoice tried to give a good rating himself and pretended as if it was done accidentally.
