A VPN encrypts your traffic. That's it. It can't tell when a network is hostile. It can't spot when you've opened your bank. It can't keep trackers from fingerprinting you across sessions. It can't stop a careless app from leaking when the tunnel hiccups. Casper's Cloak does all of that — and uses a VPN tunnel as just one tool in the kit. Casper's Cloak is a subscription service with a free 7-day trial — the protection features below require an active subscription. WHAT MAKES CASPER'S CLOAK A DEFENSE SYSTEM, NOT A TUNNEL ▸ Phantom Barriers — Decoy traffic patterns confuse fingerprinters, ad networks, and snooping middleboxes. They profile a ghost, not you. ▸ Sensitive Site Detection — Banking, healthcare, and government sites get a hardened tunnel the moment you open them, automatically. No toggling. No thinking. ▸ Smart Bypass — Trusted destinations stay direct and fast. Sensitive ones get the full cloak. The system decides per-flow, not per-app. ▸ Profile Auto-Switching — Different rules at home, on hotel WiFi, on cellular, at the coffee shop. Casper recognizes the network and applies the right defenses on its own. ▸ Network Blocking Detection — Spots censorship, captive portals, and DPI in real time and routes around them. ▸ Active Kill Switch — If anything goes wrong, traffic stops. Not "logged for review." Stops. ▸ Connection Storm Prevention — Reconnects intelligently after network changes instead of hammering your battery. ▸ Home Screen Widget — Status, profile switch, and emergency cutoff at a glance. THE VPN PART (BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL ASK) Yes, there's a tunnel. It's WireGuard — modern, fast, audited, lightweight. We picked it because it's the best. But the tunnel doesn't decide what to protect, doesn't recognize hostile context, and doesn't generate decoys. The defense layer above it does. REAL PRIVACY, NOT PROMISES Casper's Cloak runs as a native iOS Network Extension. Connection state stays on your device. We don't sell data. We don't profile users. The codebase is built around the assumption that the network is hostile and our user is the one we work for. WHO CASPER'S CLOAK IS FOR ▸ Frequent travelers who hop between hotel, airport, and conference WiFi ▸ Remote workers protecting access to sensitive systems ▸ Anyone who's tired of choosing between speed and safety ▸ People who hate apps that break Netflix, banking, and AirDrop the moment a tunnel turns on SUBSCRIPTION & PRICING Casper's Cloak requires an auto-renewable subscription; every feature listed above is part of a paid plan. New users get a 7-day free trial. • Pro — full protection (Phantom defense, unlimited speed & data) • Basic — Threat Shield, WireGuard VPN, and the Active Kill Switch Offered weekly, monthly, and yearly (current prices shown in the app). Your trial converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before it ends; payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation. Subscriptions auto-renew until canceled — manage or cancel anytime in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
