My grandmother taught me how to play cassino. I spent many hours playing it with her. She passed in 1997 and, besides my brother (who used to play with me and my grandmother) and one friend from college who happened to know the game, I never could find anyone else to play cassino with. Then I found this app. The game-play can be customized to play they way you're used to playing. The app is designed and works well. Every time I play it, I remember the great times I had playing with my grandmother. I'm so glad I found this app. It truly is a joy. -- MBH01, 2025-01-08 ### *---- "Probabilities escape this game" Michael you HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT RANDOM DEALS. The amazing amount of triples or even four of a kind that come up and allow the computer to win is ridiculous. Fix the randomness of the deals. Or may be check to see if your deck has 52 cards because it seems as if it does not. The matching face cards that occur in both player’s hands on a given deal is also out of control. I have K Q J and then the computer has the same set and takes all three tricks way too many times. COME ON. IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO ENGINEER RANDOM DEALS THEN JUST DEVELOP A TIDDLY WINKS APP. Fisher and Yates right more like Cheech and Chong. You know the pot movie duo!!!!!!!!!! Additionally, the computer always gives up sweeps. WRONG GAME PLAY STRATEGY MICHAEL. DO YOU EVEN KNOW HOW TO PLAY THE GAME THE RIGHT WAY. COMPUTER ALSO ROUTINELY KEEPS A LOW NUMBER NON POINT CARD AND THROWS A 10 OR 9 INSTEAD. WRONG AGAIN. THE GAME PLAY AI IS HORRENDOUS AND YOU CLEARLY CANNOT PLAY THIS CARD GAME. WOULD LOVE TO PLAY AGAINST YOU FOR REAL. YOU WOULD NEVER WIN. Just played Insane level and the AI still routinely gives up sweeps. WOW HOW CRAPPY IS THIS GAME. INSANE GIVES UP SWEEPS. BEEN PLAYING FOR REAL FOR OVER 50 YEARS AND IN NO WAY DOES THIS APP REPRESENT THE NUANCES INVOLVED IN CORRECT CASSINO GAME PLAY. JUST ANOTHER WOULD BE DEVELOPER TRYING TO PRETEND THEY KNOW CORRECT GAME THEORY. SO SAD!!!!!!!!!!!!! MORE HANDS MORE MATCHES DEALT. AVERAGE OF ALMOST TWO MATCHES DEALT PER HAND AGAINST THE COMPUTER. PLEASE AND REALLY!!!!!!! Random deals NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also you can tell the deals are garbage by the number of sweeps per hand. More than 3 on average, PER HAND - SO SAD. THAT IS MORE SWEEPS THAN IN A COMPLETE REAL LIFE GAME. 1000s of hands played here and nothing remotely worthwhile in this app pure statistical garbage hiding as an attempt at a classic card game. This morning while playing it on the very first hand I picked up a 10 with a 10. Then I drew another 10. One of my opponents, then built 10’s which I took with the 10 in my hand. I then drew the 10 of diamonds. That was now four 10’s. Then the opponent down the fifth 10. I built Kings by adding a three which I was able to pick up. I have played 2516 games in the hard mode and am at 56% win percentage. I just started the insane level and have played 216 games and I am at 39%. I have been playing this game for almost 60 years with real cards. I win way more games with real cards. I read you say the cards are dealt randomly. I don’t agree. I don’t make many mistakes and I can truthfully say IMHO the AI machine driving this game is slanted toward the computer. There are way too many instances where the computer gets a particularly needed card at the right time. Also I see way too many times of 4 of a kind show up in both hands. There are many other nuances regarding the cards dealt that seem to go to the computer. This one is pretty easy to use. However, there are obvious advantages given to the computer that are not allowed for the user. For example: The board has a 2 and the computer is building 8 with a 5 & 3 together. The game will not allow me the option to pick up that 2 and 8building with a 10 card. Whereas the computer IS able to make such a move. As well as the other issues listed in previous reviews.
