WHO IS CATHE FRIEDRICH?

Thousands have credited Fitness Hall of Fame member Cathe Friedrich for helping them transform their bodies and their lives with her award-winning videos. Cathe was one of the first to bring advanced workout videos—and one of the first “step” aerobic videos—to the home exerciser, and helped shatter the theory that only celebrities star in fitness videos. Over her many years of experience, Cathe has steadfastly followed three guiding principles: Professionalism. Passion. Quality.

Collage Video, a source for exercise videos since 1987, says this about Cathe on their website: “Since the early 1990s, Cathe Friedrich’s videos have set the standard for ‘challenging workouts.’ Cathe Friedrich’s workout video technique is excellent; her cuing style is very direct. These exercise videos will challenge even the elite athlete!” The Dallas Morning News wrote: “To say that Cathe Friedrich workout videos are tough is like saying Everest slopes upward.” Discovery Channel’s Fit TV, where Cathe’s workouts aired for seven seasons nationally, declared: “Cathe is one of the most popular trainers on our network. She is a power-intense cardio-buster, a punch and crunch trainer.”

## Cathe Live Reviews in United States

### ***-- "Soooo glitchy"
I’m probably Cathe’s biggest fan. Followed her since the beginning and emulated all her moves in my own fitness classes. This has nothing to do with my love for her workouts. This app is super super glitchy in so many ways I can’t include them all. The worst is when you’re halfway through and the entire workout just stops and resets back to the home page. So frustrating!
-- N77cathefan, 2025-07-28

### *---- "App doesn’t sign in"
I LOVE Cathe. Bought Live and On-Demand. But I cannot sign into either. Works on my computer but not the Apps.
-- Seeker Learner Human, 2024-12-02

### ***** "Good variety"
Spin classes, yoga, short and long workouts of all different varieties. Thank you!
-- Fl lucky Linda, 2022-02-21

### ****- "Great contentBut a couple glitches"
I love the content, you really cannot beat Cathe’s variety and quality. The app does log you out fairly often and requires a really long password which is a pain on a mobile device or using apple tv. The live notifications have also stopped working even though I have them on.
-- 48mystic, 2022-01-20

### ***** "Use it almost every day"
And it’s the best part of my day! I love that it tells me what equipment I need prior to starting. Works perfectly on my iPad too.
-- LaurAsh85, 2020-05-13

### *---- "Cancellation"
For some reason iTunes is not allowing to cancel my subscription. I contacted Cathe for help 3x and they refuse to stop the charges. Their customer service is non existent. I would give zero stars but that’s not an option.
-- court0072, 2019-03-23

### **--- "Pointless without Chromecast"
Bought the Chromecast because Cathe OnDemand wasn’t compatible with the Fire TV Stick at the time. Had to also buy and router extender because Chromecast has terrible connectivity in comparison to the Fire TV Stick. Now here we are over a year later and Cathe OnDemand works with the Fire TV Stick but Cathe Live doesn’t work with the Chromecast! I can’t seem to win!!!
-- CMJKP, 2018-01-06

### ***** "Perfect for me"
I have the app on my iPhone. I'm really loving it. It's easy to find what I want and save my favorites. Sometime when I need to be quite (working out when kids are sleeping) I use my Bluetooth and hit the weights anywhere in my house. It's like I'm taking my workout with me everywhere I go!!!!
-- RawritsMadds, 2017-07-11

### *---- "Doesn't even open"
This app would be so helpful for viewing Cathe's live workouts, but it doesn't even open on my iPad. Whenever I select the icon, the screen just turns black for a split second, and then I'm back to the home screen.
-- amanda.meiyi, 2017-06-28

### *---- "Wish it would work...."
The app quits on my iPad immediately. Works on iPhone but bigger iPad screen would be better for mobile use, if it would work.
