You got to pay a lot just to talk. And even if you do pay, they may not have paid so it’s just a dead app where no one replies because no one can reply.

I never really review things online but I am shocked by Catholic Match. I recently signed up from a November offer of £9.99 a month- and I was shocked to see that £80 was taken out of my account immediately and that I was signed up until May 2025!! There was nothing (made visible) about this in the advertisement. If the app had been good after paying all this £ upfront, it might have been excusable. However, the app itself is really, really bad. Not only did it lie about the offer (which I kindly request to be refunded) but the entire interface, usability and general content is awful. I am appalled a Christian dating app could scam people out of money and that their customer service could ignore messages. Save your money and do not purchase this terrible app.

This where I met my Fiancé and we are getting married in July. I used it for 8 months met so many wonderful and interesting people. Definitely worth the subscription.

Useless if you’re not willing to fork out hundreds.

It seemed that if you don’t pay you can’t do anything. Also it’s really expensive.

Overpriced app and a very small amount of members have a membership. I believe if the price was more reasonable there would be more people using it.

Sadly I have to make this review about the App itself. Not about the fact that in order to use it people need to purchase the membership. Which not many members are doing. So having the app is kinda pointless because no one is actually able to message. It’s not got a great viewing platform, so you couldn’t click on a profile picture and view.

The app seems really good but pointless to have unless you pay an extortionate premium you can’t even see your matches!

You can’t even message a person that you’ve been matched with. There is literally zero point in downloading this app unless you’re prepared to pay a premium.

Once you have set up a profile - you will get a mass of emojis from men from all ages ranges and countries. You also receive countless messages from men who only look at your pictures and don’t read your profile at all. Unless you pay for membership - you can not even delete the messages from men that you do not want to read. You have to click on the message - see an image of a man you have no interest in hearing from - and then you have to wait 9 days to be able to just delete the message from your inbox. A better feature would be to have all Women’s pictures hidden until a man has written a message and the woman can then reveal their profile pictures to whom they choose. You cannot even type your own hobbies and interests out - no, you have to select from a pre-made auto generated list. Very disappointing - any of the list items are repetitive and very unhelpful. For the price of membership- it is unacceptably poor in design. It’s also impossible to save a list anywhere of profiles which you do like. The app/site features are below standard. This app has the potential to be safer for women and much more useful to those seeking a future partner- but it seems to focus on profit only. It has not improved much compared to how the site was 15 years ago- I don’t know how they can justify the membership costs. You would have better success in using other apps like the inner circle - hinge - bumble etc. Which have better search criteria’s, as well as better Saftey features for women,much cheaper and have features where you can sent a wink/like to those you are interested in. Using this app/site you get spammed by people out of your search preferences. And it doesn’t allow you to delete their messages until they can be opened after 9 days. So tell me , why should you be paying so much just to have the ability to delete messages from those you don’t want to hear from?
