Also - long running shows, and even some more recent shows, are missing seasons. Hard to get into a show if you have to start partway (or way later) in a series run. Only making the current season available when there are numerous earlier seasons dissuades me from even bothering to watch the latest season only. I highly recommend watching North of North and look forward to Season 2. Then of course there’s my old favourite Murdoch Mysteries and its wonderful spin-off Macy Murdoch. I have also watched the movie The Grizzlies which, again, was just excellent. And I’m loving Andrew Chang’s About That series - very informative. One little quibble - I also enjoy listening to CBC Stingray Folk Roots but I see they are now airing ads. For a fee I can go ad-free, but I’m already paying for CBC Gem and feel that the Stingray channels should be under the same umbrella. I get so tired of paying everyone a bit of my hard earned money every month for every little thing, and at some point it just has to stop. So I rotate all my streaming services to keep costs down.
