CeX: Tech & Games, Buy & Sell

Been doing a lot of business with CEX for the last 17 years buying and selling always had great customer service no problems with any of the electronics or games. I’ve bought very friendly and helpful staff at all times. I highly recommend CEX to my friends and family anyone who’s looking to buy or trade Their items.

Had issues with X box elite 2 controller twice both times been replaced no quibble

Since CEX have updated there app the app constantly crashes when i’m building a list of items to sell to them which is extremely frustrating and is wasting my time

The amount of times I have tried to login on this app with no success leaves me mildly infuriated to say the least. Trying to reset the password, and then using the emailed reset link does not work and takes you absolutely no where. I just wonder how much revenue is lost by such things as I have passed on many a purchase due to this…

Great to find games from your youth brings back memories. CEX politics have always been good for me.

So when I literally just bought an iPhone for 340 pounds I’d expect to get longer that 1 hour playing call of duty and it used around 60 percent of the battery (and the batterys general health was a mere 72% and jumped to 79% so no doubt it was likely worse and had other issues but you can’t tell the health at least till you buy it ,then sign in to your apple account to view the battery health (but then youve spent your money if in store and staff NEVER get a refund with their ‘don’t give refunds’ policy and others and various fabricated excuses so just over three quarters of a pro max iPhone battery to download and install the a few games or to play cod for an hour ish one of the other of the full charges is obviously a faulty phone and or battery , it also over heated severely when on one of the charges for less than an hour when I checked it so I can’t get my money back and just a cex credit to my app or account (whatever it is as I don’t even care to read the email I got tbf) and no one can EVER get them to admit fault and get their money back as I was in their store years ago and a guy was going absolutely nut after spending i think it was like 700 quid on a PlayStation for his little one’s birthday or something and there was an issue that the staff were partially admitting to but saying because something else was a problem that they were only willing to issue a credit and not get his money back as he’d went and purchased a device elsewhere after the kids present debacle and he was going mental🤣 and walked out with just a voucher (I thought he was gonna end up carted out with the police🤣)with the in store check (from an extremely ignorant ’manager’ saying as standard they played a video for 30 minutes and it used 5% which was said to be normal? Well I wasn’t playing a video and as I said I’d expect 340 pounds worth of phone purchased shouldn’t need charged 3 times in a day , I know call of duty uses the battery of devices but I have the iPad and can get about 3 4 hours from the thing and the screen is like 6 times the size ! The Apple Store genius said as soon as she looked at it that the battery needed replaced due to the fact service and something was in the battery option bubble but again the obnoxious cex manager dismissed this also as he did the several points I made or just ignore me and even said well that really doesn’t matter as ‘we don’t care about apple policies as we have our own’ ?? There a good website when your buying at store there a mixed bag when you order online
