Works well
I really like it except for a couple of minor points such as no ability to change the range whilst on the reticle page. Keeping up to date with new reticles should also be a priority. Overall a good app worth buying.

The functionality of this app is excellent, however I was disappointed to find that my scope’s reticle was not listed (Vector Optics Orion MAX 3-18x44 FFP with VOR-4 Etched MIL reticle) After emailing the developer twice and not receiving any reply I’m now left searching for a compatible alternative in the Chairgun reticle database - which is frustrating to say the least. I would have given a five star review if my scope had been supported.
Everyone at our club is now using this to ensure we can help new shooters. Very comprehensive solution highly recommended.
Wish I hadn’t wasted £9.99 on this. Don’t think I can get my money back either - you love and learn.
I expect with the paid version to have at least a reasonable selection of Hornady one of the most popular manufacturers and .223 rounds one of the most widely used - there is nothing in .223 apart from 3 obscure sizes, no ballistic coefs at all for Hornady .223 53gr
Seriously, I use this app daily, it is the most used app on my phone, and I could not imagine life without it. Even if it does not have your exact scope in the database, it allows you to setup one yourself that fits your settings. Must have.
Kudos for no monthly charge. I will not use apps that charge monthly. If there is a large revamp or rewrite, I would be willing to purchase upgraded version at my leisure. That keeps me from trying out Applied Ballistics app unfortunately. Fairly intuitive even for someone relatively new to the world of ballistic calculations and precision shooting. Maybe add a more intuitive way to save cartridge customizations to firearms. In particular with weather and such.
This is the app to get for shooting. especially if you use primary arms scopes and Ketrel.
This app does a great job with one exception. The orientation of the target and horizon don’t properly rotate as can’t is put into the calculation.
Love the app been using for a year now an it takes a lot of the guessing out when you’re zeroing or taking those hard shots although I’ve noticed it’s lacking the Primary arms 3x slx 3x32 gen III ACSS 5.56/.308 reticle I’ve had to settle for the 3x micro prism reticle If you could add the gen III macro prism it would be much appreciated!! P.S I’m sure there’s other reticles people would want in addition but I’m really burning to get the one mentioned in another update
