Changing Places are different to standard accessible (disabled) toilets. There are over 1800 changing places toilets in the UK - and others worldwide. This App allows you to find your nearest facility by searching a specific location, find how to get there, how to get in, and what facilities are there. Changing Places offer the facilities of a standard accessible toilet for disabled people but with extra space (7m² originally and now 12m²), an adult changing bench and a hoist (you will need to bring your own sling). These are essential for people who have a carer or profound and multiple learning disabilities or cannot reasonably use standard accessible toilets. It includes 600 'U' toilets and Space2Change toilets. They are both very similar to standard accessible toilets for disabled people and typically also have a hoist and an adult sized changing bench, but do not comply with the full Changing Places standard, often due to limited space or having corner toilets. Our website at www.changingplacesmap.org has a similar toilet finding map, which has enhanced functionality that is made practical when matched by the larger screens and greater processing power of a PC. It includes multiple routes and extra search functions. This app replaces the first ever phone app for Changing Places, which was launched by us in August 2015. ## Changing Places Toilet Finder Screenshots - [Screenshot 1](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple114/v4/9a/08/04/9a0804ed-3d35-2ad6-c2e6-a867b923d618/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 2](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple114/v4/7d/08/8e/7d088e2c-474e-be40-ba5b-bea48f231554/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 3](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple124/v4/bc/42/6f/bc426f05-c328-c27f-e2fb-0bff9c4e0912/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 4](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple114/v4/bc/1c/c7/bc1cc733-dbce-8ceb-a2ce-c9a3b68f1c2f/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 5](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple114/v4/04/ec/d4/04ecd4ee-d57f-dd09-e7f2-3a674e8d71b1/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 6](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple114/v4/07/24/66/07246660-837c-fa57-49a9-4b7935a938b1/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) - [Screenshot 7](https://is1-ssl.mzstatic.com/image/thumb/Purple124/v4/a9/ce/4c/a9ce4c0d-6de7-5472-3c06-5537753f344a/pr_source.png/1242x2688.png) ## Changing Places Toilet Finder Rating Breakdown in United Kingdom - 5 stars: 7 (50%) - 4 stars: 2 (14%) - 3 stars: 2 (14%) - 2 stars: 1 (7%) - 1 stars: 2 (14%) ## Changing Places Toilet Finder Reviews in United Kingdom ### **--- "Not the best" Seems to not be the clearest as it took me ages to realise these bogs are for those with severe disabilities needing hoists rather than regular disabled people who need a wider cubicle, XL arms on taps and the flush to be automated, -- GeneGena, 2026-08-23 ### *---- "Doesn’t seem to work" Downloaded this and it can’t find any toilets or parking within a wide radius of me. Including large cities -- Johnny-B, 2026-07-24 ### *---- "Changing places" This app does not work, great idea but needs to be looked at. Keeps saying phone not connecting I have plenty of data and service -- L_e_eee, 2026-07-24 ### ***-- "Feedback" Unsure if this app is still maintained however here’s some feedback. On an iPhone there don’t appear to be any back buttons so once you clip on something and it takes you to a page within the app you can’t go back unless you quit the app and restart. Some bits also get cut off from view as well. Other than that good app. -- SRyan_97, 2026-03-10 ### **--- "Very basic" There are no public toilets listed. Not sure for what is the registration with eMail. -- c_2010, 2025-02-06 ### ***-- "Functional, but needs some TLC" Functional in terms of identifying Changing Places, showing details and showing it on a map. Features it needs: - Ability to call out to Google or Apple Maps for directions and navigation - Modern UI - iPhone X full screen support -- Mattyboyzxx, 2019-06-01 ### ***** "Free & Useful" For those needing the information this app provides it is excellent. I find the app easy to use and am glad I have it. -- Oh Doh, 2018-11-01 ### *---- "Not very user friendly" At all -- Andrew Simm, 2018-07-18 [View all Changing Places Toilet Finder reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Changing Places Toilet Finder Discovered Keywords - toilet finder - the toilet map - toilets4london - find a toilet ## Changing Places Toilet Finder Available In - [United Kingdom](https://apptail.io/app/changing-places-toilet-finder-JOKe/united-kingdom) - [Ireland](https://apptail.io/app/changing-places-toilet-finder-JOKe/ireland) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
