Tried sign up but won’t accept mobile number and overcharged for charge
I wanted to charge while on holiday in France at the SuperU supermarket on Avenue des Druides in Carnac. Tried account sign up and kept giving me an invalid number message despite me trying every valid combination. Then I paid using my ApplePay tap but could not stop the charge at charge point. Had to pull plug on my car socket to stop. No button visible on charge point display to stop charge. Thought I could stop charge by Apple Pay phone tap like on a previous charger at Carrefour to verify my identity…but then got charged extra when I tapped…..not happy at all with Chargepoint!
Worst app and service
Previous comment was removed by Apple - that’s how they protect companies with low rating.
Shortly about the app and the company - disaster and it is problem from start to finish. App crashes, services impossible to use, NFC payments doesn’t work, release charger not available, instructions missing … AVOID this company! Terrible, awful

Good app
Worked well for me. On boarding was very good. Love that they have Apple Wallet card. So many other providers are posting out cards that you loose within a few weeks!

Doesn’t work
Cards and tapping phone are not recognised or show an error at many charging stations in Ireland. (Where they should work).
This is a major problem if you don’t have enough juice to get to another charger.
Definitely an issue with ChargePoint and not the charging stations as everything worked fine when an alternative app was installed.
Terrible admin
Sat for thirty minutes waiting on the verification text on sign up. Tried two different numbers. Still waiting
Car list and support out of date
I have a 2021 Mini Countryman and it isn’t possible to select it in the list because the years aren’t up to date.
I was afraid to try to with around by selecting mini electric in case it didn’t work with my car even though it looks like the socket would fit to my car.

I was given an EV for a rental car. This app has inaccurate price info for the charging stations and several of the charging stations listed as “available” at deal shops had cars parked in front of them and were not accessible.
