Compared to other networks like EV Go and Electrify America, their chargers seem to be slow and very expensive per charge. I would avoid if possible.

This has the potential to be an awesomely helpful app, but since it will never let me log into my account, no matter how many times I reset the password, it’s simply useless (and highly frustrating).

I hate ChargePoint with every ounce of my being. They’ve never once tested their software. For such a simple scenario, they find new ways to fail I never thought possible. Often they make me waste 30 minutes moving my car only to find that they’ve double or triple reserved the spot; oh, and now that I couldn’t plug in, it’s back to the end of the waitlist for me. And reporting an issue within the app? The submit button will spin for minutes and then fail; where do I report failures in their “failure report” system? ChargePoint is truly the worst, and likely one of the keys to Tesla's success.

Very inconsistent with charging station information. Please get better internet network providers

Needs to be updated , much needed interface for user experience.

Doesn’t really help the average home use owner!

Bought a ChargePoint level 2 charger which will only work when shutting and reopening the breaker, After sending me a second one problem not solved, returned the unit and after multiple email back and forth I am still waiting for my money back, they keep saying that request was sent to billing department and nothing happen, avoid this company

Chargepoint obviously doesn’t care about app for home charger . There has been know improvements in mobths . Inability to set schedule for individual days. No ability to set charger timer on weekends. I guess once they sell you a charger they don’t make any money off you anymore and can care less about the home charger functionality

On numerous occasions I have encountered defective charge ports. When they cannot be plugged back into their home ports, ChargePoint will drain your account of whatever funds you had funded it with and then automatically withdrawal even more. It’s criminal. They charge you for a service but don’t provide the service. You can’t reach them for help. When their defective product doesn’t work, you pay. I’m just waiting for the class action lawsuit.

We have had the ChargePoint home charger for 3 years or so and for the most part it works as intended. However, we prefer to take advantage of our electric company’s reduced KWH rates during the super off peak hours. Periodically, we notice that the vehicle starts charging during peak hours. When we go into the schedule on the app we discover that the charging hours are no longer aligned with our provider’s time of use rates. It takes considerable time and effort to correct the situation and find the appropriate energy tier/schedule (the schedule we wind up choosing to align with the times is not our actual rate plan that we have chosen with our provider). These charging schedule changes seem to align with firmware updates on the app. To summarize, it is best for us to charge midnight-6:00 am and when we select the corresponding rate plan on the app, it schedules us to charge at other times which are significantly more expensive. After manually choosing a rate plan that aligns with our actual TOU schedule it will randomly change and go to another schedule.
