## CheckedID Description
De CheckedID-app is bedoeld om de identiteit van iemand vast te stellen. Zeer veilig, eenvoudig te gebruiken en volledig in overeenstemming met wet- en regelgeving.

CheckedID is bedoeld voor bedrijven en organisaties die zekerheid moeten hebben met wie ze te maken hebben, ook als deze personen zich op afstand bevinden. Het enige dat hiervoor nodig is, is een formeel identiteitsbewijs (bijv. paspoort, ID-kaart, verblijfskaart of rijbewijs) en een standaard smartphone of tablet die is verbonden met het internet.

De app is direct uit de App Store te gebruiken en direct op maat voor u ingesteld., waarbij toch maatwerk wordt geleverd. Voor iedere situatie biedt CheckedID de perfecte ID-check.

Met de CheckedID-app worden afbeeldingen en gegevens van een ID-bewijs en de houder opgenomen. Wanneer het gebruikte toestel en ID-bewijs dat ondersteunen wordt de NFC-chip in het ID-bewijs gelezen. De app is zeer veilig (“bank grade”) en laat op het toestel geen persoonsgegevens achter. De app stuurt de afbeeldingen en gegevens naar de beveiligde CheckedID-servers, waar de geautomatiseerde verificatie ervan gebeurt. In minder dan 15 seconden is het resultaat hiervan beschikbaar. Het beveiligde verificatierapport vermeldt of het ID-bewijs in orde is en verschaft de geverifieerde persoonsgegevens van de houder. Dit alles geheel in overeenstemming met de AVG-vereisten.

CheckedID is een zakelijke dienst ontwikkeld door en eigendom van JanusID B.V. (Nederland). Het bevat componenten die gelicentieerd zijn van Mitek Systems B.V.

De CheckedID app is gratis te gebruiken voor alle medewerkers en genodigden van bedrijven en organisaties die een abonnement hebben op de CheckedID service.
