## CHEK Mobile Reviews in Canada

### **--- "CC won't Turn Off"
You can't turn off the closed captioning on the iPhone. When you tap off it does nothing. The old app was better.
-- J1mb0~, 2025-03-23

### *---- "Sketchy Pervasive Ads"
App is not useable. Ads pop up that want you to download “software”. These ads cannot be closed. Hard no for me. Not safe for any mobile users. Apple should remove this from their marketplace.
-- Georgian Bay Ty, 2023-04-11

### *---- "CHEK news app"
Can’t watch live news on the app anymore
-- Raptor41, 2021-06-20

### *---- "Not user friendly"
This app is just the website but the links don’t work when you go into the side bar. Not even sure what the point is other than the main page.
-- Stet money, 2021-04-05

### **--- "It’s fairly unpleasant to use"
Can’t decide if it wants to be a website or a real app. Basic tasks are difficult or annoying. The gold standard for news apps is Reuters. Just copy them
-- Bgtoast, 2021-04-04

### ***** "Works!"
May change the star rating later, so far it’s excellent
-- kar_isma, 2020-11-20

### *---- "Blank Page"
Used to work fine. Just blank now.
-- SammyCaesar, 2020-05-23

### ***** "Local news access"
App works 👌 perfectly. Nice to have direct access to local news through the day when listening to the radio, etc isn’t available.
-- Shazz Mack, 2020-02-27

### *---- "New App"
I can’t get anything but a blank page. It’s terrible! I can’t even give it a one as I can’t see a thing.
-- kaxkhsckneknfekamihrihc, 2020-02-05

### ***** "Pretty good"
Pretty good 😁
