How do I change a king with a rocks. Can someone show me?

Game-breaking bug

Christofer S on

United States

I encountered a position where, after Queenside castling as white, the computer on the highest difficulty setting made no move as Black and yet somehow put me in check. The same thing happened 3 times in a row after using the undo feature. Up to that point though the app is fine, hence 3 stars.

Option to turn off stalemate?

Scott XD on

United States

I get that I’m not the best chess player in the world. But why does it almost always have to be stalemate? Other apps will let you make as many moves as it takes to overtake your opponent’s last piece and actually win! I wish their was an option to turn off stalemate. Makes it boring for someone like me. I like to chip away all my opponent’s pieces and then corner the King. But you can’t do that in this version of Chess like you can in other versions in the App Store unless you do it within an unknown number of moves. Frustrating to me for that reason

Music can’t be turned down, just loops forever

Blackborderedlifestyle on

I don’t like that I have to turn down my phones volume to turn down the ‘on hold’ music (that just loops and loops). I like to listen to podcasts on my phone or audio in general while playing chess. This app will not allow you to do that. FYI buyer beware.
