Chess Premium

Great offline chess game. Simple and nothing complex. Shame it doesn't upscale to iPad so this is the only reason it loses a star, otherwise it’s great.

I really like this 2D version and always play against the computer. The only thing which hasn’t been resolved yet that I would like is the ability to see which pieces you and your opponent have taken as you have to do a quick recount of the board

The computer is so slow!

A good way to learn more from the game. Also too keep ones mind Healthily and active. It has a mathematical side too it. That helps with ones problem solving. Also ones everyday use of math. I love being able to play when I whish too. I am not as good as some. But I can surprise myself and others whom I play. I have lost a lot of games. But with this game app of chest I have found my game equal, level. Also an higher level that keeps my mind challenged. It would be good for beginners. Plus it would be a good app for those who are more advance in playing the game of CHESS.

Love this game and use it often. If I could change this game in any way, it would be to show removed pieces.

I have had several games where it is as if the “computer” has forgotten the rules of certain pieces. For example: I have had a few issues with the opponents pawns. Once it moved 3 places to directly in front of my king claiming “check”; another time it moved sides ways to kill instead of on the diagonal. Very strange. Occasionally it has not allowed me to move a piece to where I would like (even though it is a totally valid move). Has a mind of its own.

I upgraded from free version to remove ads. But now have to deal with “Think Time” option which you cannot turn off. So frustrating.

You can’t take a piece to get yourself out of check which is a completely feasible move when playing chess, increasing the difficulty shouldn’t limit your moves & this is underhanded! Other than that a good game to play.
