## Chester County Library System Reviews in United States

### *---- "Useless"
The new app requires you to sign in every time, which completely defeats the purpose of having an app. What a horrible update. This has caused me to stop borrowing books because it’s too much of a hassle to look them up to find their location or put them on hold.
-- Bcars22, 2026-01-24

### *---- "Always Logs Me Out"
The app looks nice, but it does not save your card number and you have to log in every time. I used the previous app as my primary library card. In addition, I had to create a PIN, which became another tedious process. Needs to be fixed to it doesn’t log the user out right away.
-- afddtygvccx, 2026-01-22

### *---- "Useless app"
So unreliable. I can log in with my credentials on the CC library website but never works on the app
-- Kaiti.r, 2026-01-21

### *---- "Terrible update and no response"
As others have mentioned the app doesn’t let you stay logged in (no point in using it) and when you try to sign in with your online borrower number and pin it rejects it (but works on the website). So the app is not functional.

Reached out to the developer and to let them know the app isn’t working too but have not heard back.
-- Moonflower755, 2026-01-20

### ***-- "The app is useful."
The concept of the app is fantastic. I used the old one so often. I’d really appreciate if the new one offered the option to stay logged in, as the old one always did, especially considering that the new app frequently says that it’s unable to process my login info. I’m positive I have the correct number and pin because it works sometimes and works on the website. Please keep working on the new app. :) I don’t care about fancy, I just would like to stay logged in and be able to use the functions the old app had. Thanks!

### *---- "Does not work"
I was logged out of all my accounts and I can’t sign in to my account anymore. This app has many issues. I want the old version back.
-- C diwdjs, 2026-01-19

### *---- "Can we get the old app back?"
The updated app is not usable. The County should get their money back from the developer and give us the old app back.
-- Constant Reader 5150, 2026-01-18

### *---- "Promising, but buggy and not functional"
The new aesthetic is nice and more modern. The easy access to library card barcode (especially with auto increase of screen brightness & contrast for easy scanning) and linked accounts is great. Being able to see checkouts, holds, fines etc… across all linked accounts is fantastic. It would all be wonderful and a five star review if It didn’t keep logging me out. Previously when I did log in, it wouldn’t track my check outs, holds. Etc… And now I can’t even log back in. It’s completely unusable to me. Fix the bugs and it’s five stars.
-- Backflipte, 2026-01-17

### *---- "It’s a shame"
Please bring back the previous version. This is so called updated app is completely useless and it’s hard to imagine how this kind of quality can be accepted by the library.
-- Wga1900, 2026-01-17

### *---- "Can’t choose branch"
This new update is even worse than the last one. Always logs you out and doesn’t let you log on with correct login info that works on the website.

When you try to reserve an item with the app, the item location sets for the home branch of the item. You aren’t able to change the pickup location. For example, if a book I want is at Chester County and I try to have it delivered to Easttown, I am not able to do so. Please fix this!
