But the app doesn’t load some of account data even when I’ve triple confirmed I’m logged in to the same account on the CME website. What the website calls my wishlist, the app calls my favorites, and none of my wishlist items are there. I’m sure this app will improve with time and I look forward to revising my rating. Regardless, I’m a happy and loyal customer. -- Colin Morris, 2025-06-19 ### *---- "Na! Bad app. Crooked people used as a corrupt gov’t tool" Wonky app. They need to have better selection and need to do way more better with the prices. Also answer your phone letting IT go to vm ITs lazy. What’s up with the IT on the webpage? App shows a whole lot of junk. Check out the TOS and privacy policy. Liar griffin Junk. -- Darth Tomato, 2025-06-03 ### ***** "Top Notch" The CME app is my first stop for everything gear related. The user experience is second to none, from navigating and ease of finding products to the smoothest checkout process. -- Chadrick Jenkins, 2024-05-09 ### ***** "Awesome customer service" The customer service helped me decide to purchase when I was on the fence about buying instruments here. They have a great reputation and I will agree. Great communication and nice pricing. . Thank you mates!! -- MSDCJD, 2024-02-22 ### *---- "Unethical Business Practices" I’ve personally had CME try to screw me with every purchase. Over the year and a half I’ve tried to buy two things from them as new: a Supro DK12 and a guitar both were damaged. The amp arrived pre-opened and has a tube with a noticeable microphonic ringing noise on b-flat. I didn’t know enough at the time to return it. The first Gretsch Parlor Penguin arrived with damaged pick guard, a crack in the top and bad 16th fret. The replacement arrived with a broken-off tuning key that someone had attempted to GLUE back on. (Also unplayable 1st and 6th strings at the 16th fret. These all were sold as new and arrived with evidence that they’d been opened. (No doubt these items were returned by customers and CME then burns others with those items rather than returning them to the manufacturer. I’ll never buy from them again and I hope no one else will either. Find a store with a different dealer than CME! -- Davesleep, 2023-01-19 ### *---- "Pretty crappy. No electric guitars listed ?" Live CME and a loyal customer but this app is pretty bad. Click on electric guitar category and no guitars are listed - and this is their bread n butter. Hope they can get it together as it’s a great guitar store. -- Windy City hot dogs, 2023-01-12 ### *---- "The website is WAY better" The website is far easier and more intuitive to use than the app. I appreciate that CME decided to do an app. I would be more interested in using it if the user experience was closer to that of the website and it only takes an extra half second to open up Safari and select CME’s website from my favorites. -- Egg'rSuit, 2022-12-30 ### **--- "Shows primarily out of stock inventory" Cannot filter out out of stock inventory, you need to scroll through endless out of stock items to see what they have. It appears they’ve listed everything they’ve ever sold. -- D Bush, 2022-10-06 ### *---- "Is this still in beta?" Confused why the app doesn’t have any sort features. It seems like it still needs kinks worked out. I figured I could shop by Brand and picked Fender, only one sold out telecaster popped up as a result? -- Timherremans, 2022-09-16 ### *---- "Lousy experience on a tablet" It’s 2022… there’s no excuse not to have an app layout that fills up the whole screen on a mobile device. No way I’m going to shop on this tiny phone-sized window in the middle of my iPad screen. -- Mic OS, 2022-07-07 [View all Chicago Music Exchange reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Chicago Music Exchange Discovered Keywords -
